Can someone P L E A S E tell me why or how in the H Wendy’s could possibly run out of biscuits during the morning rush at 730-740????? This happened back in January as well as this morning. In January I was told 2 minutes. At 10 minutes I went in a wanted a refund. The guy said No. They will be done in a minute and I will have your sandwiches out to you in two minutes. Ok. Three minutes later I left. I had to go back later and get my money back later that day. Yes he told me NO when I asked for a refund. Went to Burger King for breakfast that morning.
This morning, I had the same staff member tell me 3 minutes after I asked him to ask and clarify HOW LONG IT WOULD BE “THIS TIME”. I am pretty sure that he remembered our previous incident because he was standing there when I got my refund and I am sure he was spoken to about it. Back to this morning….. he said three minutes. At 6 and a half minutes I left. Again. During what HAS TO BE the morning rush for them….. very disappointed. 7:45am I left. Again. Might be lesson learned. Burger King McDonald’s Heck, even The Bistro has been quicker than this Wendy’s some times and they are a sit down restaurant!! Does store management know this is happening? Do they care? Does corporate?
Running out of biscuits at this time I believe to be unacceptable in the first place, but to do it consistently is a bigger problem. And then to tell a client, No (I will not give you a refund)
What the H is going on over there?
If I ate at Wendy’s every day these would be far separated incidents, but I eat there a couple of times a week, and it seems unfortunate for those that choose this Wendy’s.
Overall 1 star. Food 0 stars it was nonexistent in this stop Service 1 star (he knew how to make change but not how to communicate correctly) Atmosphere remains to be seen from this…..0 stars
Oh, and I have to go back later and get my money...
Read moreI'm a cook at a loca restaurant in downtown Petoskey.... and when I get out of work at night, the Petoskey Wendys is one of the only places open to get food. I like the place. However... something is SERIOUSLY wrong in that joint as of lately. As an experienced cook at a higher end place, I am able to spot things that perhaps most people wouldn't First off, I waited about 25 minutes for my food (this was fine. They were busy. I get it.) I opened the bag, and I felt like I got punched in the face. The fries, STANK.... I took one bite to confirm, and as I expected... it tasted like sucking on a flip flop. I am 40 years old... I know what old frying oil tastes like... and, these were BY FAR made in the OLDEST fry oil I have ever seen or experienced in any way. They were unedible. I also ordered a Krabby Patty Burger to try. The bun on it, had CLEARLY been sitting out for probably 24 hours or so, or was inproperly stored, because it was encased in a shell of staleness. The entire burger was barely warm, and was about the size of a McDonalds regular Hamburger. It cost $6.29 for the burger alone, and a Whopper Jr. from Burger King would have been over half the the price, and more filling, and the fries probably wouldn't taste like they were made by Goodyear. I literally have a whol Large fry with only half of one missing. I'm thinking of donating the rest to Science so they can try to carbon date the age of whatever monster of dirty oil was living in that...
Read moreWe have been to to this establishment 3 times in the last month and a half. The 1st time we went through the drive through. We waited 6 minutes for the car ahead of us to get their order at the window. When we got ours it was cold. Took it back inside to tell them it was cold. They replaced the order. The 2nd time we stopped went through the drive through we received our meals. The burger was completely dried out. What happened to hot and juicy. The 3rd time we visited. I decided to go inside to place an order. Hoping that maybe it would be different. Not so much. There 1 customer in front of me. He waited at least 2 minutes to get waited on. He placed his order. I then waited at least 2 more minutes to get waited on. As I stood waiting to be waited on. I observed the state of the kitchen. There was filth every where. Mustard bottles l, wrappers and just plain disgust underneath the cabinets. With all the employees chanting. " I love my job". If they love their job. Maybe they they should do it with a little...
