13th St BBQ — Restaurant in Phenix City

Friday, March 28th, was my first time visiting 13th St. BBQ. I'm from Columbus, born and raised, and never been. However, I decided to go cause I have heard about them over the years. I've heard people say they were really good. Then, I also read 13th St. BBQ reviews. That was all I needed to make my first ever visit. I called in my order to reduce the wait time. I got a smoked chicken and brisket sandwich. Both were tasteful. The brisket was melt in your mouth. No tough meat at all. I also got a chili dog. The chili was just what I expected from good chili. Meaty with thick sauce and flavourful. I also had a sausage dog. The sausage 13th St. BBQ is used for the links and dogs. They are the sausage standard in the South. Spicy with that firm casing. That pops when you bite into it. I also got their brunswick stew. In words of goldilocks. It was just right. Nothing to be added or taken out. Get yourself some crackers or bread and enjoy. Whoever is reading this and never been to 13th St. BBQ. I recommend you do so. You won't be disappointed. You will only be satisfied and pleased with all the food 13th St. BBQ has to offer. I was working in PC today and didn't pack my lunch so I decided to try this place for the first time and let me tell you; this place gets a 10/10 in all categories! The lady who took my order over the phone was very kind, the guest waiting for their food were very friendly in conversation (we talked about how great the food was here) and to top it off when I got back to work to actually eat my food I was in shock. Everything was fresh and hot. My friend got the chefs salad, and I got the rib plate..my fries were great and perfectly seasoned, the ribs were just AMAZING, and I am funny about potato salad but I will say it taste great and homemade, If they don't make it in house, then you guys deff have me fooled! I had a bad bbq experience elsewhere in PC, so I am glad I am opened minded in not giving up and trying a different bbq place & I am glad I tried this place. OMG! Have you ever took a bite of something and had to close your eyes cause it tasted so soo good you were savoring the flavor cause it kinda made you and your were like wow...omg...this amazing.
