This area is a gem in Columbus's hat! It's one of the main reasons my lovely wife and moved here! Columbus has frequent events here, from (our favorite) Food Truck events to concerts (on both sides of the river!) to nature walks and all the activities that center around the river which separates us from our Sister City, Phenix City, AL and is a short walk (or drive) across the bridge. You can kyakk in the river, fish or just dangle your toes in the cool water! Even better, Historic Downtown is just a short walk from the park and there are plenty of eateries and even a coffee shop or two, imcluding our fave, Iron Bank! Or you can walk the nature trails and in warmer weather, let the little ones run around the mini waterpark! There really is something going on...

I recently visited a charming playground along the riverwalk in Columbus, Georgia and was thoroughly impressed. The playground featured colorful equipment, including swings, slides, and climbing structures, that were perfect for children of all ages. The location along the riverwalk offered stunning views of the Chattahoochee River and plenty of green space for picnics and outdoor activities. The playground was clean and well-maintained, with soft rubber flooring to ensure safety for little ones. The park also had shaded areas and benches for parents to relax and watch their children play. Overall, I highly recommend this playground for families looking for a fun and picturesque place to...

This was my first time going and I know that I'll be back. There was a gospel fest and it was lovely! I believe if there was no extra activities, I'd still enjoy myself! The bathrooms... playground... scenery... everything was nice! The food hall was pretty good...I purchased a cheeseburger meal, very affordable. Oh and the customer service was on point! They had zip lining, I'll never do it but there were a lot of people enjoying it. They had water rafting, I believe that's what it's called! A lot of people was doing that...it looked fun but I'm too chicken! 🥴🙄🥴 Parking was a bit rough, but understand it was several events going on. Like I said!...

Columbus Georgia is a great getaway from Atlanta. I'd even call it like a mini Atlanta. Water is everywhere. You have the riverfront, and 2 or 3 lakes close by. The riverfront has restaurants and a great vibe. Columbus State University is right there, so you have students intermingling with the crowd. There are historical plaques as you walk through downtown that give you a brief history read about Columbus. A very easy going energy in Columbus.

I took a nice long walk after breakfast and went by 1000 Bay Avenue, Columbus, Georgia..The Riverwalk is a very nice, well kept, clean, and safe walk along the Flint River. I believe it's a 22 mile.trail. I might have walked 2.of.those miles. It looks like a great place for a family to spend some nice time walking, laying on the children's playground and then going into the splash pad. Then, after playing,.many food.optioms are very close by.
