Hair in food and rude manager, do not eat here!!!!. Before covid, this was a great place; besides the fact that I have seen a dog behind the bar once, it was a good place. I went today and will never return. A friend and I went, sat by the door, and ordered two drinks and food. An employee came in (who turned out to be the manager named Ashley) and propped open the door without asking if we were cold or not. It is a gloomy day in Philly, with a bit of wind, and the temp is 55. We both looked puzzled but ignored it. A few moments later, another employee came and closed the door and said, "She is trying to freeze yall" jokingly; we laughed and continued our conversation. The food arrived, and I took a bite of the blackened chicken alfredo, which was great, and then noticed a hair in my food. I waved down an employee and quietly told them there was a hair in the food. The employee apologized, took the plate, and brought another dish later. We decided to order round 2 of drinks and continued to enjoy our day. Ashely came by and asked if we needed anything else, and we thought about ordering round 3 but said no and asked for the check. The check comes, and I glance at it and give Ashely my card to close out. She returned with the receipt to sign, and I noticed that we were charged for five drinks instead of 4. I told Ashely we only had 4, and she insisted we have 5. My friend and I looked at each other, replayed our drinks in our heads, and said no, we had four drinks, two each. She then goes and talks to the bartender and comes back and continues to state that we had five drinks. After trying to explain to her that that was incorrect, she rudely says she will take it off and storms off. I asked for the manager, and she turned around and yelled, "I am the manager," and continued to walk off. So I go to the bar to speak with Ashely, and she continued to tell me that we had five drinks because there were five glasses behind the bar. I tried to explain to her that we only had four, but she clearly had an attitude and made it seem like we were lying. At this point, other customers are listening to the interaction, which is embarrassing because I have no reason to lie about one drink. Ashley refunded the original receipt and removed the extra drink but insisted we had five drinks. The new bill was 98 dollars, and I left an 18 dollar tip. No customer should be called a liar in front of other customers for a mistake the restaurant made. I will never return, and I hope they teach Ashely how to be a manager with...

We hired 2637brew for our holiday work party this year and I am so impressed with the entire experience. Everything was so easy, so enjoyable and of course so delicious!!! After submitting my inquiry for catering on their website, Mino called me right away to discuss our options and created a custom menu based on our budget, expectations, and dietary needs (vegetarian options). This was a rather late inquiry in my opinion (only 2 weeks before the event!!) and Mino assured me that everything would be just fine - and it totally was! We had two staff from 2636brew at the party to assist. They brought spring rolls, spanakopita, salad, meatballs and rolls, coleslaw, blackened chicken and alfredo pasta, and so many veggie options! Everything was outstanding! So many people were raving about how good the food was. And they brought a perfect amount of food. She even took care of our bartenders which was so nice!! Our venue did not have staff to work the party, so I had asked Mino to stay at the party to help maintain a clean space and they really helped to keep on top of the mess everyone was making! It was a HUGE help because I was able to enjoy myself and not worry about the clean up during the party. There was not much clean up at all by the end of the night. Their service was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Meeting Mino actually felt like she was a long time friend. I'm SO GLAD that we decided to work with 2637brew for this party.. they made the party planning so much less stressful and made me look like a star for pulling off something so wonderful! A HUGE thanks to them!
As a side note - I also live in the area and went here for brunch the other day and was just as equally impressed with their location. The food was awesome! I ordered the Rancheros (I think that was the name on the menu) it was a bacon wrapped avocado with egg baked in it and some beans and salsa on the side. SO good and so pretty! My friend ordered Lobster Benedict and we also shared a plate of Bananas Foster french toast and ....you guys....!!! The caramelized banana slices and the crispy warm bread with melty vanilla ice cream ughhhh it was so amazing!!! Brunch is definitely recommended here! And service is great, I never had an empty mimosa glass :)
Try this place out - you're going to LOVE it! I'm lucky to live so close and can't wait to visit...
Read moreCame here on a whim. Looked on Yelp for places to eat on Monday night. Was hesitant and skeptical bar food hmmmm. So I looked up menu and prices my friend wanted steak fries pictures of course... sold. Ride pass it was crowded well good and bad. Went in they were hosting a Christmas Party nice theme everyone dressed up from a time period. Anyway so were the host and bartenders. Small place we were seated at the bar due to the party. Don't like sitting at the bar but at least they were chairs and not no back raggedy ass stools. So I ordered fried green tomatoes, Thai chilli sauce wings and my friend ordered bison burger and Caesar salad. It was goat cheese and tomato slice battered and fried. I cut into it creamy cheesy perfection. And I don't even like goat cheese, has this off funky yuuuuh taste to me. But it was very good because the batter was well seasoned and stayed crisp. I tried my friend's salad oh best salad I ever had and that bison burger yummy. So will be back, the host was nice and the bartender she was friendly. And the patrons at the bar were super cool too. It was a great Monday night! A good start to an other...
