Don’t get me wrong the sandwiches are delicious and amazing. It’s the service I have a problem with, one, the orders take extremely long. Two, I usually order from the Uber eats app and I ALWAYS request my peppers on the side and they always ignore it. Three, I ordered a hoagie today to refer a few friends and they loved it. Another friends of mines wanted to order another one, so I provided the name and advised they order through Uber. However at 6pm they shut the Uber account down and it not the first time they done it. They do it at 1, 3, it appears whenever they want. If you can’t handle online orders from a major platform like Uber, as a business owner you need to do one or two things. Expand your business or bring your online order system in house to control flow. However, back to the story. My friend calls, they answer stating they aren’t taking any online orders and hung up. That’s it. I was so embarrassed after bragging about how good they are and how they’re a black owned business just for service to turn into a pun joke.

This isn’t a detractor to not enjoy their food, please continue to support the business but keep these things in mind. Because I have these issues almost every time I order and it gets frustrating...

This is our second time wanting to support this establishment. We live blocks away and were unable to get anyone on the phone or either you're on hold.Last attempt they ran out of bread. Sigh. We can never seem to get the service part right. I'm sure the food is the bomb if we ever get to sample it. Update: Decided to go in person, of course we were told after a few minutes that if we ordered, it would be an hour. One of their staff was on break. (should not have been divulged) Factoring in the brisk business, and thinking hey, everyone deserves a break right? So we decided to order and come back later. We didn't leave right away ( running our mouths), but at some point one of the staff members told us it would take 15 minutes. With that new information we decided to wait in person. Well, it ended up being an hour anyway. There was no excuse for that length of time even though they actually tried to give one. Thankfully, the sandwich was as advertised. I got the Chicken Caesar Salad Hoagie, it was delicious, hearty and fresh, warm & toasted. I was very happy with the sandwich and the service as well, all the workers including the owner were pleasant. I got there around 12:30ish on Thursday 9/7/23, there was a line which doesn't take much because it's a small place. The only issue I have is they have to do better with the time. I do appreciate the sandwiches being made to order, meaning they slice the meat for every sandwich when ordered, and the Chicken Caesar was made with the ingredients being added to the salad while I watched, very good sandwich but they gotta work out the timing. I waited and incredibly long time for my sandwich as did everyone else. As good as it was, it's still a hoagie and that's not a hot commodity in Philly. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because it's too long a wait for a sandwich. I really hope they get better with that because I want them to do well & I wanna...
