Been meaning to try this spot for years and today I have the opportunity!

I was looking for something a bit unique for brunch and I found exactly what I was looking for. I had the croissant sandwich with avocado, tomato, ham, and egg (with a side of hollandaise) and it was perfect. I actually ordered two more to go so I can freeze them for later.

My only disappointment was that the mixed greens had arugula in them which made them pretty bitter - that's personally not my thing, but I was told the mix was pre-made so no way to boot just the arugula. Thankfully, there are other sides one can sub with.

The service was great and two nice folks kept checking on me and ensuring I had what I needed.

The inside was smaller than I expected. There were less than 10 tables and all pretty close together. I was sat at a small table close to the bathroom, which is also the walkway to the outdoor seating section in the back. Lots of traffic back and forth from the restroom and from folks serving the patrons outdoors, so not a great place to peacefully sit. There was also a bit of smoke inside, guessing that there was some adventure in the kitchen in the front. Not a big problem, but for more comfort, I'd probably would choose to takeout or dine outside next time.

Overall, I enjoyed this place and I'll be back again. Looking forward to see how the croissant sandwiches fare in...

Had friends in town and went here for brunch on a Sunday as it accommodated all of our dietary needs. We didn’t get there until after 2pm but were able to get seated right away. The server let us know the kitchen would be closing soon, but gave us time to figure out our meals and drinks.

I ordered the tofu scramble with hash instead of French fries. My friends ordered the Brie stuffed French toast and Eggs Benedict. I had a carrot and orange juice mix, one had a hot chocolate and the other had a coffee.

The food was tasty. I finished my tofu scramble, but they both were able to take half of their meals to go. The French toast was yummy and my friend said the raspberry puree was delicious. She was scooping it up to put in her to go container. The Eggs Benedict was also good. There were no complaints and our bellies were full.

The place is small and cozy. There is like one outside table in the front of the restaurant. a small main dining room and then a dining area...

There is almost nothing I won't choke down, but the food actually made me sick when I tried to eat it. Awful, overly-sweet hot cocoa and a weird open-face sandwich that had all the ingredients to be really interesting and delicious, but just wasn't executed well and ended up being completely inedible. Which woulda been fine if the waitstaff had bothered to ask me why I didn't eat any of it or even a generic "how is everything?", but instead they just disappeared left me sitting there for forever, until I finally gave up and flagged someone down for the check. I really wanted to like this place, but ended up being so nauseated and angry that I couldn't even bring myself to tip more than a couple dollars. I will give it two stars instead of one, because, to be fair, my sandwich came with "curried fries" --which didn't actually taste curried at all, but were at least edible, so I ate most of those and at least wasn't...

Man, I had a good time at Ants Pants Café! The vibe in there was cool, but I’ll be real with you, parking’s a bit of a hassle since the street stays busy. You just gotta time it right. Once I got in, though, the staff was on point. They got us seated and served up with no hassle, all smiles too, which I appreciated. Our server was dope, real helpful with putting us on to the best coffee and they shared some solid picks from the menu. Now, the food? It hit. That French toast was fire, but if I’m keeping it real, I wouldn’t have minded a little more sweetness. That’s just me though, it was still good eating. All in all, I’m giving this spot a strong four out of five. If you’re looking for a solid brunch joint, Ants Pants is definitely worth checking out.

Ants Pants Café is a fantastic brunch and lunch destination! As someone with gluten-free and whole food plant-based (vegan) dietary guidelines, I was thrilled by how accommodating they were. The menu offered plenty of options that fit my needs, and they were more than happy to modify dishes to ensure everything was perfect. I enjoyed a delicious tofu scramble that was both flavorful and satisfying. The service was excellent, with our server going out of his way to help me find a variety of meals I might enjoy. He made me feel truly valued and cared for. Ants Pants Café is a gem for anyone with specific dietary preferences or restrictions. Highly recommend for a cozy and welcoming brunch or lunch spot!
