Pure Design — Attraction in Philadelphia

I stopped in after reading reviews of Pure Florist to order roses for Valentine's Day to be delivered to my girlfriends office. I was greeted by who I believe was the owner, he was extremely friendly and patiently listened to my needs and explained all the options available. I asked if they could be delivered by 4pm on V-day and he said he could not guarantee the time but that they would have several people out delivering flowers and since her office was close by that it shouldn't be an issue. The flowers arrived at 445pm and I received a call from my girlfriend who was literally speechless! She said the two dozen long stem roses in glass vase had to be at least 3 feet tall and that she couldn't even carry them if she tried! They are absolutely beautiful and also included hydrangeas (see pic). I would highly recommend Pure for their professionalism, top notch customer service and their fresh, beautiful arrangements. I live in South Florida, recently I found out my sister was very sick at the hospital in Philadelphia so I began looking for a flower shop near her location. I had never expected to find this incredible place (Pure Design) over the internet. I called and found Michael at the other end of the phone who treated me with respect and compassion, and in less than a few minutes he assured me everything is taken care of… the best part was that on the way to the hospital, he took it upon himself to stop someplace and buy her a teddy bear in addition to the flowers, this was an amazing act of kindness. In the end, my bouquet and boutonnière were very nice, however, the bouquet was not ready at the time I had arranged to pick it up (the guy had not even started it yet and tried to convince me that I had scheduled to pick it up the next day.) When he finally did get it together it was much to big (as I had specifically asked for a tight and small bouquet) so I had to ask him to re-do it. All in all it was a very frustrating and time consuming ordeal. These hinderances coupled with the rather exorbitant cost deters me from using Pure for floral arrangement in the future.
