Food was underwhelming, the chicken was dried, and the bread was trash. Also, there was no coleslaw whatsoever in that sandwich. It tasted just as bad as the one in the Northeast. They used to taste good back before they expanded.
I was also never informed of the extra pricing for sauce spice level. I picked hot honey, and that cost extra, yet they don't tell you about it! It was only after I confronted they about it they said that they charged extra for that because I noticed it after I paid. For your information, it is not posted anywhere on their menu. So be careful, make sure to ask, and check your receipt.
Also, be careful if you do end up doing refunds. They LIE and don't issue them!!! So after confronting them about the extra charges for the hot honey sauce, I asked for a refund to which their manager went to the machine and did the refund. But he didn't do it at all. What he did was he did a new order and gave me a recipe that has a completely different order# and transaction# to what the original order/receipt was. There was no credit card # or anything on that receipt. The funny thing is that the new receipt says, "The order has been canceled and refuned for 2." Upon reading that sketchy message, I confronted the manager about it, and he assured me multiple times it has been refunded, to which I asked what if it wasn't? He would just say it has been done and I will be refunded. He lied, and I never got a refund from them. Just so you know, I ate at Asad on April 1, and I waited until April 15 before I disputed. So, be careful and check your bank for the refund. If it's not there, I would highly suggest you dispute the charges with your bank.
TLDR: Their food was underwhelming. They may charge extra without you knowing. And they LIE about refunds.

I don’t care how good the food is—if the service is this bad, it’s not worth it! I went to Asad’s Hot Chicken expecting a great meal, but the experience was completely ruined by the employee, Hannah. She was beyond rude, acting like I was inconveniencing her just by placing an order. No greeting, no basic courtesy—just an attitude like she couldn’t care less. When I asked a question about the menu, she gave me the most annoyed look and barely even answered.
When I finally got my food, there was a mistake, and when I pointed it out, Hannah acted like I was the problem instead of just fixing it.
I’ll give credit where it’s due—the chicken was good, and the loaded fries were GODLY, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. No matter how good the food is, I refuse to support a place that treats customers like they’re a bother. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that actually respects...
Read moreExcited to learn about an Asad’s Hot Chicken location closer to me than the original on Roosevelt Blvd. Great hours and fast service. Having only discovered the “Nashville Hot Chicken” sandwich in 2020, it became my favorite very quickly. It appears that hot chicken is the fast food of the moment and you cannot go anywhere without someone serving a version on the menu. But Asad’s is really good. IMO Asad’s and Love and Honey are the best places to get a hot fried chicken sandwich or chicken tender in the city. Large sandwich (don’t be fooled by the word slider these are very big sandwiches) if a first timer take the spice level very seriously. If in doubt go one level down. Nothing worse than ordering an amazing sandwich and realizing you can’t eat it because it’s too hot/spicy for you. The Asad’s sauce is great for dipping the fries. This is always a special...
