Normally, I’m not the ‘write a review’ type of person, but I had such a great experience at this store, I decided to make an exception. This was my first experience buying furniture from a box store. Previously, because my apartment was so small and doorways were so narrow, I was limited to cheap furniture that could be assembled in my apartment. My friends had great experiences there so, I decided to take the leap. There was one set I liked the way it was arranged with the cuddler on one end and a chaise on the other end, but didn’t really like the color. When I walked into the showroom I was greeted by Max who showed me a sectional in the color I liked and said that he could order the sectional exactly how I wanted, which wasn’t an option online. I also looked at a couple mattresses but wasn’t sure which one I wanted. Max was very patient and not at all pushy. I wasn’t ready to buy yet, I wanted to see a couple of other places and I wanted to wait until closing on my house to open another line of credit. They suggested that I put a small refundable deposit down of $10 to lock in the price, but I said I’d that I wanted to look at a couple of other places first, I was expecting a pushy response, but they were fine with me waiting. When I returned to put my deposit down and finalize my choice on the mattress, Max and his manager, Mo remembered my name and what I wanted and were so friendly, again not pushy at all about making the sale. So, when I was ready, I went in to make the final purchase and I spoke to Max again, Mo the manager took care of setting my financial piece and I also chatted a bit with Emma. Frankly, I’m terrible with remembering names, but I remembered each of theirs because they were so friendly and so very helpful. They remembered all of my details including that I was buying my first home and congratulated me. My furniture is great and I’m very happy with it. I’m glad I didn’t just purchase a set I didn’t really like online. I went to the storeroom and got exactly what I wanted. Read more10/10 customer service 0% pushy or in our face, they gave us time to walk and talk and think 10/10 knowledge of their store and options available, either in store or online, which was invaluable here since the sizes we wanted weren’t displayed and we never would have known what all our options could be 100% satisfied.
Kevin and his manager are amazing! I had a very specific vision in my head of what I wanted my new living room to look like; and I wasn't willing to spend money on anything less than perfect. We’d been to 2 other stores that day, including the Swedish big name next door, and nothing was coming together. It was raining, we were hungry and tired, and my husband was on his last bit of steam. In we walk, I tell Kevin what I am looking for, and boom. He and his manager run around the store, take this couch with this ottoman, next to this pull out sofa (they found the right size online, store had too big/too small so we never could have seen it without him) and voila!!! My perfect living room vision is live in front of me!! Really great job, and two of the pieces were online sales so we got those prices! Then I described my dream dining table. They had one that fit the vision in the store, $600, but it was half the length I needed, so I’d have to buy two, and it was tres fancy, a little too detailed for something I’d cover with a nice tablecloth. Once again, back to the think tank they went and returned with a very similar item, online inventory only (and on sale!) and best part, two of these tables were about the same price as just one of the tables they had...
Read moreI found the sofa I wanted online. It’s not available in any stores to see in person. So that was annoying since it said online that it was in stores. Then I go to the store and am looking for a specific sales person that helped me a week prior. When I asked for him, the other employee acted as though he’s never heard of this person. Then I said to my husband, I guess I can just order online. The employee asks me to order with him so he could get the commission. Which is fine. I was there to give the other guy the commission so I guess glad someone was getting it. I asked about returns, since I can’t see the item in person and was basically told I have to refuse the delivery immediately if I don’t want it. There is no trial period to make sure the couch is decent. There was no talk of what happens if I just spent 2k on a piece of crap. I have 2 seconds with the delivery guys to decide if the sofa is worth the price. Then there was the plan I could pay for for wear and tear which apparently doesn't cover anything a pet would do to the sofa but would cover something my toddler did to mess up the sofa, not sure how they would be able to tell how some of the wear and tear would happen so it’s hard to trust is a good package to buy when they can’t guarantee coverage. So waiting to schedule this delivery. Hoping the couch is nice and worth the money. I think this will be my last time buying from a furniture store.
What’s the point if you can’t see it in person to return. I’m better off buying...
