This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, I have great memories. Sadly the quality of the food on our visit two weeks ago was horrible. I realize the Pandemic has taken its toll but even the basics were poorly prepared. We had a large order and honestly each item was problematic.

Lo mein ( 2 orders) AND the plain pan noodles (2) : tasteless, sticky and over cooked (Discarded) Pepper steak: sauce was tasteless and watery ( I asked for extra sauce). Filet mignon: mediocre, not spicy and the “seasonal vegetables”were tasteless string beans. Orange Filet Mignon: weird taste, watery sauce (discarded) Chicken Wings (2) : they changed to full wings it was supposed to be wing dings, they were NOT marinated in honey sauce. In fact they appeared refried, rubbery, dry and tasteless (discarded) Chef’s BBQ ribs: dry Shrimp and Broccoli (2): watery clear sauce, tasteless, tiny rubbery shrimp (Discarded) Asian Special Fried Rice:gummy, appeared old, shrimp rubbery chicken hard (discarded) We had one houseguest and was excited since we haven’t entertained since the Pandemic. We were embarrassed that we choose this restaurant. Be sure to preview all of your favorite restaurants that appear to have survived the Pandemic... the quality may not...

Originally my daughter and I were going to go to tgi Fridays a little ways down to have dinner to celebrate her 21st birthday. Well, the wait was near an hour so that was out of the question for dinner consisting of prepackaged pirtioned and frozen ingredients. So off we went and a few doors down there was a quaint Asian restaurant that we noticed and decided to try. We were greeted promptly, shown to a table and handed the menus AFTER we still down (and yes the chairs were pulled out for us) We decided to share a bottle of wine which was served properly and professionally. We had a marvelous time. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet place for dinner! Thank you tgi Fridays for having such a long wait for mediocre food that night because my daughter and I had a far superior dinner because of it. I LEARNED A LESSON THAT NIGHT... THERE ARE RESTAURANTS THAT MAY NOT BE AS WELL KNOWN, BUT THEY SHOULD BE AND WILL BE IF OTHERS LIKE MYSELF GET THE WORD OUT THERE. Keep this restaurant in mind especially if you are staying in a downtown hotel. I'm sure they offer takeout and possibly delivery to the hotels so give them a try one day for...

I ordered take out from here while waiting for some of friends to get downtown. My food arrived before my friends, so I decided to sit down in their outside seating area, and I began to eat some of the take out that I received just moments earlier. I thought it would not be a big deal, I was only using one chair, and there was only one other person sitting in the seating area that could probably fit close to 20 people! Soon after my first fork full, someone came out of the restaurant and told me I could not eat where I was sitting. I was confused. At first I thought maybe they did not realize I was eating the same food I had just ordered from their restaurant moments ago. So I tried to explain my thoughts to the person who was kicking me out, but my efforts fell on deaf ears, and I was forced to leave their seating area.

I can maybe understand kicking someone out of your seating area if they are not eating from your restaurant, but not the very own food that was just ordered from your restaurant's kitchen... Bad costumer service. Terrible way to treat a...

The good. I actually thought the food was adequate, if I’d ordered Chinese food. Instead I ordered off the Thai menu. There is very little that is the same between the two cuisines. They use zero Thai chilis. Zero lemongrass. Zero fish sauce. Truly a tragic waste of my time. The “Tom Yum - Seafood” had 2 bay shrimp and 3 pieces of unidentified “seafood.” Again, Chinese spices, zero Thai spice. Add to that the HUGE pieces of chicken in the dish, which were yummy but they didn’t provide a knife, so I’m glad no one else was in the hotel room while I ate. Also, charged me for what I thought was Thai chili oil. Nope- Chinese again. Straight out of a Dynasty bottle. I can recommend them as a Chinese restaurant. But if you have any standards for your Thai food, choose any other place. This was a disaster. As a side note, the bartender/owner? is just grumpy and unpleasant for someone who owns a restaurant/bar. Not my problem because I won’t be back unless I’m hurting for Chinese food.

Got some takeout here for the first time. I just got a few basics: dumplings, and special fried rice. The dumplings were stuffed full, and the rice was delicious! I opted for pick up instead of delivery so I saw the inside of the restaurant. There were people in the restaurant wearing jeans, but it was very elegant inside and I would definitely take someone there for an elegant occasion. The employees were very nice and my food was made quickly. I definitely want to go back and try some of their entrées. They had both Chinese and Thai offerings.

Have been looking for a great Singapore Mei Fun since my favorite go-to place closed its doors last year. The ones we got today were absolutely PERFECT! perfect type of glass noodles and perfect spice! The food was fresh and delicious 😋! I also ordered wings, but honestly for $1 a wing, I would not recommend as they are tiny and a bit bland for my pallet however, I will come here from the northeast once a week for the Singapore Mei Hood.
