Hot water is a persistent but inconsistent problem. Not sure when or why it happens but half the times I shower the water is barely warm. Even when the water is hot, it lasts less than 5 minutes (not a single time has it lasted longer than that and I know because that’s the typical duration of a song). One of those perks about old buildings?

Beware of all kinds of noises from 3am—5am garbage trucks, early morning/late evening constructions, and day traffic horns, especially if you’re on the north or east facing units (they are horrendously loud for my unit, at least).

Pretty much eternal darkness if your unit faces north because the only light source is completely blocked by the next building, unless it’s the corner room. See attached photos of my room taken in broad daylight.

Living here at the Arch Has been AMAZING!!!! The front Desk Concierge Diamond is Always Positive and very mild mannered. The Maintenance Supervisor Chris is Very pleasant, Hard working, Diligent, Handles My work order and any other work pointed out in a timely manner and very outgoing to make sure that your satisfied with the work before he leaves, He's a stellar guy. And has a smile that'll melt your heart. Wish that there were more like him in this industry!!! Brendan is a rock star he was awesome upon moving in and communicates very well to our needs. I really don't see the negativity. I am still a resident here and I do NOT plan on leaving anytime soon. I've been here since the building opened. Don't let the nice lounge or pretty architecture fool you.

Any rent specials here are not worth it.

As the previous renters mentioned - elevators are constantly out and some times none work for days.

In unit lights will randomly dim or flicker and can't be fixed.

You will sometimes have hot water in the winter. And if you do it may only last a few mins in the shower.

I was locked out of my apartment over 10x and maintenance could not fix the issue. I was locked out for an ENTIRE weekend, bc maintenance could not be reached. Only after 2 MONTHS of issues, did they decide to replace the lock.
