Cafe Old Nelson — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I’ve tried to look pass the overcharging since we are downtown and its convenient but I can’t anymore. First it’s the overpriced items in the store, overpriced food & then always an issue with the debit card machine knowing most people are not carrying cash around. But today was it for me, I called about 20 mins early to place an order for a breakfast sandwhich and I get into the place at 8:55 and they tell me I didn’t order anything thing, I had to read my order over again to them and tell the man you asked me if I wanted 1 eggs or 2 and then all of a sudden he remembered. First it was they are still making the sandwich and then it was oh we gave it to someone else! They need to put a better system in place as far as people ordering over the phone! Ask for a name? Ask for a number? Give an order number? Something to confirm people are paying for and taking the right food. Also two weeks ago when I again ordered over the phone they said they were still making it but they couldn’t have been because again I ordered about 20 mins ahead. I was about to leave and just say forget the food but I asked once again and the girl said oh I’m sorry it’s right here… only for me to go to work sit down and get ready to eat and it was the wrong sandwich. I’ve been eating here literally for almost 10yrs and over that time the service has went downhill. I’m not sure who’s at fault, the one’s doing the cooking or if it’s the one’s taking the orders, but my order was wrong two days in a row. My order today was wrong twice! I ordered a hot sausage egg and cheese with mayo salt pepper and ketchup, on a croissant, but I got a regular sausage patty egg and cheese with just mayo. I took it back to get my original order, but instead got a mild sausage egg and cheese with no mayo or ketchup on a hard almost burnt croissant. Yesterday I ordered a Jewish Hoagie with lettuce pickles tomato hot peppers, extra mayo light oil and vinegar, but my sandwich was missing the pickles, it barely had any mayo on it but instead mustard, and waaayy too much oil and vinegar. I work across the street from them and have been going there for years but I’m done today. I’ve spent hard earned money on overpriced breakfast and lunch and today I tried to buy a couple snacks and it came to 4.58$ and the guy from behind the counter told me I needed to spend at least 5$, I said it’s only 0.42$ under. He says I can use cash, I know that but I don’t carry cash. I just spent 20$ on a mediocre breakfast platter last week and just because I’m 0.42$ short of 5$ I can’t buy what I want.
