So today was the first time I've visited this diner. My usual breakfast place (which is a block away) was closed unexpectedly. My first thought coming into Champ's was the small amount of space. There's 3 chairs and a small space by he door for someone to stand. I had to leave and stand outside in the cold and wait for someone to come out so that I could have somewhere to stand. Upon coming into the diner he staff was very friendly which was a nice touch. As I stood there deciding what I wanted to eat lots of ppl were coming in and out and the guy making the drinks and bringing the orders to the front were welcoming them by name which I thought was admirable (shows that they have regulars). After ordering my food I sat and waited for my food which only took about 10 mins. Given how busy it was and how much food I ordered (Bacon, egg and cheese on potato bread, a side of bacon, a side of eggs with cheese and a side of grits). I was surprised it got done so quickly but still impressed. I did however lose my faith in the diner after getting home and seeing that the side of bacon I ordered wasn't in the bag and the bacon on my sandwich seemed really chewy and undercooked. Nice service, not so...

Response to restaurant: i wasn’t even going to reply but you tried it. Duh! If the food was ready and had been sitting for hours the food would not be good. The problem is the partnership between Champs and Ubereats. The drivers did nothing wrong. As i stated..there were FOUR different drivers. Do not insult my intelligence by claiming you would hate to take responsibility...the onus is on you! YOU kept delaying my order; YOU kept 3 of 4 drivers waiting; YOU weren’t prepared. I’m glad you were busy but if you’re too busy don’t be greedy, set yourself as unavailable. Nothing about my review changes except now not only is the food just ok but your attitude stinks. If i could adjust to zero stars i would. Good day.

Food is half way decent. A little pricey for the quality. Definitely not worth the wait. I ordered on ubereats and had to cancel my order after waiting an hour and a half. Went through 4 different drivers. It’s breakfast food. It shouldn’t take 2 hours to make a waffle. Maybe if they were more time effective i would’ve rated higher but like i said food is ok and the wait time completely tanks any chance of receiving a...

champs diner was amazing. i am so filled from the food there. it was so amazing i had the oreo pancakes and i loved them and saved the leftover for later. i also got bacon and eggs which were both great. my boyfriend got oreo pancakes with chicken and home fries and let me just tell you the chicken and home fries were AMAZING!! we had bart as our server and he was amazing. his energy was lighting up the entire space and even if the food was terrible (which it WAS NOT) i'd go back just for the experience with Bart again he was awesome! anyways long story short go here it's extremely affordable my boyfriend paid $48 for 6 food items and we even had leftovers. if you're looking to go here don't even think twice about it just go!!

Ordered through Uber Eats since we are still in the stay-at-home order and was my first time trying the place. Food was really good! I sometimes prefer diners for breakfast food because I feel you usually get good food for a good value/price, and this is true of Champ's. We ordered a Breakfast Burrito (turkey sausage inside) with a side of home fries and a Meat Lover's Omelette platter which came with home fries...It was tasty and very filling! Maybe once everything is over and things get back to normal we can sit down there to eat. Either way, I definitely recommend checking them out and supporting our local restaurants like this one.

Doesn't live up to the hype, probably because they're pickup only now. I ordered the red velvet pancakes and turkey sausage breakfast burrito for pickup, and it was fulfilled 30 minutes before I had scheduled it. When I was able to pick up my order, everything was soggy and cold. The red velvet pancakes were especially disappointing because all of the whipped cream (what little they had topped it with) had melted. The burrito was soggy, as well, and half of the guacamole was brown, so I doubt it was fresh. The burrito is definitely small considering they supposedly use 4 eggs to make it.
