Cousin's Burger — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I decided to come check this place because it's right around the corner from me and has had soo much social media buzz. My cousin also suggested I come try them out. I ordered 1 smash burger and cheese fries tonight to go & just finished my food. Now ima give my honest opinion. I thought the burger was just okay. Nothing really special about it. Extremely overpriced at $8.00. The cheese fries were $6.00. It was a very nice portion however the cheese was bland. Overall, I wouldn't definitely return.

I also observed some other things that wasn't cool. A worker from the back kept coming out but I observed him playing in his hair and twisting his braids with his cooking gloves on. The front desk clerk wasn't friendly at all. She barely wanted to greet any customers. She also went in the bathrooms to clean up and change the trash bags. She never washed her hands when she was done but she was also making milkshake orders. These are other reasons why I will not return to this...

Oh my God. These burgers are amazinggggg; cannot believe that there is a halal option for authentic smash burgers. The quality of the beef is incredible: juicy, flavour, and it’s organic, antibiotic and hormone free-zabiha halal meat. The loaded fries are also a must have 🤤🤤. I’ve tried halal burgers from all over the world and this is by far the best, better than Shake Shack and Five Guys in Dubai and Saudi. AND THE SAUCE 😍😍. Obsessed with the double heat smash burger. Just so good, we go out of our way to come here when we’re in Pennsylvania and my husband legit won’t eat any other burger anywhere, anymore. It’s kind of a problem. 🫠 Also the staff and service are so nice and quick!
