Sadly I will never order from this restaurant again. I used to order almost weekly until last night. I placed my regular order which clearly states no Onions in the one dish. When it arrived it was almost as if the cook added extra onions which totally overpowered the dish even after scraping off and throwing away. I called to let them know and at first they were apolgeted and offered to take care of the dish next time I ordered. Which I appreciated especially since I order so offer. We hung up, then things changed when they called me back to tell me they talked to the cook and he said he didn’t put onions in the dish and the owner basically called me a liar and then said maybe I was mistaken with Green and red peppers instead of onions. I couldn’t believe it... like really? I offered to take a picture of all the onions and send and he said no worries they would take care of me when I called again. So I called tonight since I wasn’t satisfied from last night. And the same man who answered again called me a liar and then said he wouldn’t replace that item but offer me an appetizer instead casuse the dish cost $14. No I said that is not what was messed up and not offered to me last night. After I was upset and let them know they were about to lose a good customer he again called me a liar!!! Really??? Well never again will my phone call your business. I hope it was worth the $14 dish for you in the end. Bye Bye Exta, turns out you are the...

I’ve been hearing great things about Ekta and wanted to give it another try as we’ve been craving Indian food.
This time we ordered enough naan (2 pieces per person) and got the Manchurian cauliflower appetizer (which was delicious). We also got chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo. Everything was delicious and fresh. When we went to pick it up, the gentlemen inside were very nice and the food was ready shortly after the site said it would be. Much better experience this time and will be returning.
Old review (2021) - 2 stars
Food was fine but very overpriced. I paid 3.50 for garlic naan and got one small piece! I ordered food for 3 people and when they took my order they didn’t mention how scrawny the order of naan would be! I have ordered from many other Indian places and have never received such a small order of naan.
Each entree was $15-$16 and came in a small 16oz plastic container with a 16oz container of barely seasoned basmati rice. In 3 containers we found one whole pistachio, a lemon slice, and no other seasonings.
The tandoori chicken was tasty but the chicken tikka masala was very sweet and the lamb vindaloo was a gritty. Very disappointing, I probably would’ve enjoyed this more had it been less expensive, but to spend over $50 on 3 entrees I’d like them to at least taste good and to have enough bread to actually...
Read moreSo glad this place exists! I had ordered from here long ago and remember enjoying the food but sadly never reviewed them.
COVID got me to remember about this place and so glad they're still around! Solid spot for Indian food - and I've tried some not so great spots in the past.
If you go for pick up, the place is completely unassuming but don't judge it by the facade - there are surprises in store with the food quality!
We had ordered pick up (they partner with the different delivery services and also do their own delivering for free!) We ordered the shaag paneer, garlic naan, and veggie biriyani.
The order delivery was right within the time window they quoted and the delivery guy was super friendly. Everything came well packaged and nothing was out of place when we unpacked it at home.
The food quality is where it's at though. Great flavor, solid portions, not heavy on the oil - just hits all the right cravings.
Will definitely be hitting this place up again as quarantine looms on. Check it out - so...
