My fiancé and I absolutely love exploring new places, especially when it comes to brunch! Let me tell you, this place we discovered completely blew us away! We had no idea we would be treated to such a unique and satisfying culinary experience! From the outside, El Fuerte may not seem like the kind of place that would captivate your taste buds, but for us, that's part of its charm! So, we decided to take a chance and try it out for brunch.
Let me start by talking about the huevos rancheros my fiancé had. They were incredibly well-balanced, and the tomato salsa had this wonderfully light and fresh taste! It perfectly complemented the tortillas without overpowering the dish. And as for my steak and eggs, oh my goodness, it was absolutely to die for! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the chimichurri sauce on top added an incredible burst of flavor. It was served with home-cut fries and their mouthwatering signature hot sauce, which I believe deserves its own patent! It was truly phenomenal!
After our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef's father, "Johnny." Let me tell you, he was the epitome of amazing! He took the time to chat with us about the restaurant's monthly events and their upcoming Valentine's Day celebration. We were so impressed that we canceled our original plans and signed up for a night that I just know will be unforgettable!
Before leaving, we couldn't resist trying a little bit of their Dulce de Leche French toast. Let me tell you, it was absolutely mind-blowing! I highly recommend it! Oh, and just a friendly heads up, this place is BYOB, so don't forget to bring along your favorite wine or other adult beverage to enjoy with your future...

Been wanting to get here since they opened and on one occasion tried to go for brunch but it was PACKED. Rightfully so, as the brunch looks fantastic.
We went for dinner on Taco Tuesday and it was 10/10. Super friendly, family-like environment with a staff that appreciates your business and wants you to feel welcome through the entire process.
The free chips and salsa slapped - the GOOD, authentic tortilla chips and a smokey, late-kick type salsa.
Started off with the Street Corn and Brussel Sprouts as apps -- highly recommend both of those, especially the sprouts. Not too crispy but not too soft, topped with bacon and a nice kick of lemon flavor. For drinks, we got the Sangria soda which I never would've known existed if we didn't come here.
Collectively, we had the steak, chicken, al pastor, and shrimp tacos. We couldn't pick our favorite -- each just as tasty as the last in their own respect. And looking at the menu, there are so many other items I'd like to try, we just happened to go on Taco Tuesday and were feeling tacos.
Closed out the night with the Tres Leches cake. Unreal. That first bite literally caused a verbal "woah" -- so creamy and delicious with fresh blueberries and strawberries, topped with some sort of pineapple glaze. I could eat that every single day.
Overall, an awesome local spot in a sea of tourist traps. They serve tasty authentic cuisine with a family environment. We'll be return customers for certain and definitely want to get in on that...
Read moreSuch great warm vibes this spot has. We made reservations -which is highly recommended. Seconds after we sat down, all tables were completely filled. You can feel the love, happiness and passion in this cozy restaurant. Customer service was welcoming and on point. Very clean and prideful restaurant. While the coffee was good, the drink menu wasn’t vast. Unsweetened teas and lack of soda was a bummer for my husband so her opted for a delicious green smoothie—not ideal for brunch though. I would hope they would kindly expand the beverage options to more brunch friendly. The steak and eggs were very tender and flavorful. The French toast was 10 outta 10 would recommend !!!! I opted for a caramelized banana instead of peaches overtop. Unless it’s peach cobbler, I’ll pass LOL. Overall we had a very...
