I am really not one to ever post a review even if I have a bad experience somewhere. However, this is truly the worst experience I have ever had. I get my hair balayaged ALL the time. Usually at least x2-3 per year and I got to my same hair girl who is unfortunately on maternity leave at the moment but I needed to have my hair done!
The main guy posts on tik tok and it seemed like maybe it would be good! The positive reviews also made me want to come so I came. Here are ALL of the reasons if you look at this rescues and you think âmy experience wonât be like as neg as this reviewâ why you still shouldnât go. (Bc I usually think that)
I made an appt for 11:30am. There was another girl getting a balayage and a girl who was getting full color. All 3 of us were there until 6pm. The other balayage actually was probably there until 7pm and I overheard her say she was there at 10:15am so before me. That is ridiculous. I shouldnât have to spend an THAT many hours at one salon. Iâve had my hair done multiple times w multiple people and itâs max 4-5 hoursâŚ
The main guy cuts your hair in order to do balayageâŚ. He showed me a tik tok of this method but Iâm sorry that THINS out your hair. Obviously bc ur removing hair. I have never seen this method and even if itâs a thing I HATED the result. It made my hair thin of course. I shouldâve backed out but Iâm also passive and never speak up so⌠my fault for even staying tbh that was a red flag.
He literally loses track of what heâs doing. If ur even thinking of getting a hair cut I saw 2 other customers LEAVE and reschedule bc he overbooked. Thatâs another reason why he doesnât focus even on your own hair and I essentially waited and got my hair done all day to get nothing that I wanted. Truly it was NOT what I asked for AND my hair is now thinned out.
Itâs not clean. They reuse everything on you to everyone else there is no sense of cleanliness. Itâs just not it. I really was SOOOO excited bc of what I saw on instagram and tik tok and like I said this is my first time leaving a review for anyone no matter if I have a bad experience. But this was THAT bad of an experienceâŚ. I still paid the full amount and tipped :) so it was a HUGE waste of time, and money. DO NOT GO unless you are okay with everything I listed above. :)
Update: I looked up this air touch method. Yeah it doesnât involve you CUTTING hair and thinning it out! Youâre supposed to do the hair drying technique and not cut :) so even more...

⨠You canât go wrong with any of the guys who do hair here. Vinh/Kevin especially is incredible â he truly loves his work and takes pride in EVERY detail.
đ Even after a long and hectic day, when I told him he could skip the blowout to save time, he looked at me and said: âThis is my job.â Then he carefully finished every detail, making sure my hair looked perfect. đ
â ď¸ The nail tech, however, gives the salon A BAD NAME!!
âď¸ The first time I called, I spoke with one of the guys (who doesnât do nails). He wasnât sure about the nail services, so he reached out to her directly and gave me the price she told him: $25 for a regular manicure.
â When I arrived and asked for it, she told me they âdonât doâ regular manicures and pushed me into gel instead.
âď¸ Later, I called anonymously and she admitted she does offer regular manicures â but explained it as: đ $10 for cleaning + $15 for color = $25.
So she knowingly misled me, lied about the service being available, and steered me into a more expensive option.
â Very dishonest and unprofessional, especially compared to the high standard the hair team sets.
â Come here for the hair â avoid the nails.
Hello Yan,
When I spoke with you on the phone, I politely explained the situation and mentioned that I don't appreciate the dishonesty and lack of transparency. Instead of clarifying anything, you stuttered and had no answer for me whatsoever.
In what world does a "regular manicure" not include the manicure itself... I've been getting my nails...
Read moreSo unprofessional. I recently went in for a haircut and had an older guy (not the main guy who's young and seems to always wear a hat). He was rough with handling my hair, AND he touched my chest inappropriately several times "checking the length" of my long front hair. I was surprised at 1st because people usually use a comb to check that, and thought maybe he was being thoughtless. But then after 2 more times, it felt intentional. I said to him, can you use your comb and not your hands, which he acted like he didn't understand because his English was limited. But he stopped checking my front hair afterward. I'm Asian and only speak English, but have gone to these Asian hair salons all my life. Pissed that he thinks he could do that and get away with it. Can't speak about the others in the salon, but there was no management there to talk to about this. Small businesses still need to be professional and not take...
