I like this place. Yesterday, I drove by it, and was determined to come back for breakfast. It looked like a place with cool donuts.

I saw the menu online and really wanted to try the chicken sandwich, but unfortunately, they had just sold the last one, when I arrived. A food delivery was on the way, but delayed. So, I decided to just wait it out, despite the hunger.

After sitting for a little while, my stomach said, “Feed. Me. Now. Sir!!” So, I gave in, and ordered: Dry rub wings, with the coffee-bbq sauce on the side, a Donut Latte, and a “Churro” donut.

Immediately, I knew the wings would be great just by the way they looked. I’m an experienced wing connoisseur, that recently returned from a mostly plant-based diet. I can look at wings and know how good they are.

These dry rub wings were really good!! The coffee-bbq sauce complimented them quite well too. The only thing that sucks is that there were only 6. You have to eat them slowly, or they’ll vanish so quickly. Well worth the price though.

The donut was good, but a little bit sweeter than I expected.

I enjoyed the Donut Latte. It’s a cinnamony-type flavor if you’re into that. The latte paired with the sweetness of the donut, which happened to work well.

The staff was nice, and helped with understanding the ingredients in everything.

The guy comp’d my order too, because of my willingness to wait around for that chicken sandwich. I’m grateful for that.

I would’ve left this review even if I paid for my food, just based on the wings. I still want that chicken sandwich, so I’ll be back...

Was not staying that far from the Federal Donuts location and decided to come in for an afternoon donut. We ended up having a Pomegranate Nutella donut and Baklava donut. Both had a lot of flavor but were very dense and heavy, not light and airy as we are used to. The pomegranate nutella combination was not as we would have imagined and the flavors did not work for us. The pomegranate icing on it's own tasted delicious and the donut alone was flavorful but dense and dry. Wish I would have gotten the chocolate donut, but maybe next time. The Baklava donut did taste exactly like a baklava but was also a bit dry. In the end the glad we stopped in to try the donuts, though if we went back would try to go in the morning to try some of their popular donuts!

Would say they do sell out of their popular donuts early in the morning and they do rotate out their flavors. Would recommend coming in early to try out their new combinations! There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The location is nice with lots of large windows and...

I visited Federal Donuts about a week ago and overheard something that completely turned me off from ever coming back. One of the employees — who has previously told me she’s the assistant manager when I needed help with a previous order — was loudly telling her coworkers about how The Franklin Institute formally accused her of dropping a donut on the floor and serving it to them. She was speaking openly and loudly enough that multiple customers, including myself, clearly heard her — and she didn’t seem to care at all.

If you were falsely accused of something that serious, would you really be casually talking about it in front of customers? It honestly made me question the standards of this location. If this is the type of person Federal Donuts trusts in a leadership role, they won’t be getting my business again and you should reconsider giving them your...
