First Wok — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The food is absolutely amazing but the lady at the counter answers the phone politely and then she sighs out of frustration and gets impatient and the energy becomes negative . I loved this place cause I’m from jersey and I just moved here so was looking for a stable place to get my takeout and this place has GREAT FOOD!!!! For me it’s always fresh and hot but here’s where things get tricky….

There’s always those bad seeds that pit in minimal effort. When I left the tip the lady asked “ are you going to leave a tip?” I said ABSOULTELY !! I always leave a tip for good service . And I told her 3 dollars and she said

“THATS IT!!!” I immediately yelled at her becuase i was offended.someone needs to teach the lady on the phone humility. So I stopped leaving tips!!!!! Becuase number one I’m buying food from your establishment so I’m still investing my money into your Bussiness when I can go elsewhere . Number two a tip is optional !!! I have been ordering from First Wok since they first opened! The owner then was Cho who was the absolute best person ever! I have asked several times however, no one will say if she is still the owner. I am assuming from the poor communication with my orders that she is no longer there!

I am extremely disappointed with what they call their updated menu! Prices are too high! Who doesn’t put scallions in egg drop soup?? They wanted to charge me $.50 extra for scallions!! Saay Whaat??? I’ve never in my life bought egg drop soup without scallions in it!

Also, they left a delivery order sitting on my porch! When I called about it, they tried to convince me that I requested it! NO WAY! I have been fighting a squirrel & cat for months!
