Great ice cream, reliable service, prime location, HIGHLY recommended!

I've been here at least a half dozen times throughout the years and can attest to the quality of this establishment. There are many treat selections including the delicious rolled ice cream. If you've never had it, it's essentially ice creamed that's flattened and quick-frozen and mixed with whatever toppings you choose. It's then rolled up and squished into a cup.

Getting here is incredibly easy by foot, but not so much by car. You'll be searching for street or lot parking if you're driving (wouldn't recommend). This place is located right at the front of Chinatown and is a few steps up from the street (like many establishments in the area, so be warned if you are physically disabled).

Upon entering, you'll be greeted with a small but not cramped interior. The order counter is typically quite crowded, as this place is popular, but they take orders very quickly so the line is rarely more than 5-10 minutes. There are a half dozen tables with some seats along the side, but during prime hours it may be hard to find a place to sit.

The ice cream here is fantastic and quite well-priced! You can either order something custom, or choose from the pre-conceived named choices, with many additional topping selections.

When it comes to ice cream, rolled is absolutely the best. I especially like it because it doesn't melt as fast as soft serve, so I can enjoy it longer. Frozen is a great rolled (the "fried" subtitle is misleading) ice cream place in Chinatown that offers a variety of flavor and topic selections. Even when busy, they operate quickly and serve generously. My favorite flavor is jasmine tea — it's hydrating, not too sweet and very refreshing. As for toppings, you get three for free but can add more for additional price. In my opinion, the best toppings are fruits, nuts, cookies and mochi. I would advise against liquid toppings (chocolate/caramel syrups and such) because the ice cream is so cold that they harden quickly (unless you like your liquid toppings crunchy).
