This place is a thing of beauty, but from how comically unsanitary it is. This is a health inspectors worse nightmare. Moldy ceiling tiles, roaches running the counters where the to go boxes and spices are stored, cooks were eating while cooking customers food, the cooks didn't have hair nets or gloves, and the waitress doubled as the dish washer, but only had one decorative glove as an accessorythat she never removed even while serving food. The person who rang me up was brushing his hair next to the cooking area. A customer asked the waitress for a rag to wipe down the tables, but the waitress said the restaurant had no rags for cleaning the tables. Read moreMy significant other introduced me to this place several months ago. Without a doubt, in the whole East Fallls, Mannyunk, Germantown, Mt Airy area, this is my favorite breakfast spot. There is no Wifi, parking is metered and the decor is a non issue. It's not a yuppie hangout. Its a neighborhood spot with great breakfast food and fast service. The twins make you feel at home and the quality of the food speaks for itself. I'm a western omlette with home fries guy and my other half is more pancakes or french toast with bacon or scrapple . We alsways leave full and happy and rarely is our bill over 25 bucks including tip. I've been here 6 times in about 3 months and I will be back again when my schedule...

First let’s start with the cashier that walked in before me and didn’t hold the door open while looking directly at me walking right behind her to go into the store. When I entered the store it was not clean, very dirty. I attempted to order a French Toast platter from here which cost me $9.85 not understanding why, but when I went to use my card they said it was a $10 minimum.
Honestly, if you want good breakfast food just walk down the street to J&S restaurant they serve breakfast and lunch for a cheaper price, don’t tax heavy, accepts Apple Pay, and don’t force you to add to your order to meet a card minimum.
