Chew Playground — Attraction in Philadelphia

Nice little park section is very popular for people with kids.

The fields are closed off due to lead contamination and people myself included choose to use them for dogs. While technically prohibited, it is well fenced and rarely uses by anyone else. Just be respectful.

There are also basketball courts and a public pool which I've never used, but also seem very popular.

Great park that isn’t as stuffy as many of the others in the city. Despite the park not technically allowing dogs, the fields are sectioned off partially blocking one area from the next (including the playground). This helps to avoid any issues with dogs and little ones playing at the same time. All in all, it’s a great place to have within a couple of blocks...
