Plaza Garibaldi is an excellent Mexican restaurant serving authentic cuisine to satisfy. Both the Fajitas de Res (Meat) and the Suadero Tacos offered perfect portions and delightful flavors for palettes of different levels of spice. The corn tortillas offer a gluten-free option for those with a sensitivity to gluten. They do convey that the same cooktop where the food is cooked is used to cook items that aren’t gluten-free. So for celiacs, that’s likely an impediment.
However, when placing my order, and calling prior, they were clear, and transparent. I placed notes in my order and they took the precautions to deliver meals that were not problematic. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, and its freshness. The fajitas are accompanied by large tortillas, hot sauce, yellow rice, refried beans, and pico dec gallo. The restaurant offers exceptional service that’s cordial, and empathetic. I highly recommend Plaza Garibaldi’s stellar...
Read moreThis place is local to me. About a block and a half away from my home. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants near me but my friend called, said he was there, and invited me to cone over and grab a bite. I'm not much for Mexican food so I just got the chicken tacos. They were good but not great. There is another place about 8 doors down from me that is the bomb when it comes to chicken tacos. So they are hard to live up to. However, Garibaldi is bigger and has a bar. I don't drink but if you do you may want to check thus place out. My friend had Talapia with rice and I tried some and it was good but slightly bland. I know Talapia is not to much as far as flavor but they could have done a little more with it. In my opinion anyway. To each their own though and I would still recommend this place. Clean, fast, and polite...
Read moreMy friends and I had such a great experience here on new years ever 2023. (Late review) we made a reservation at 6:00 PM the day of for a party of 10 for a final dinner for 2023! Every-single-dish was excellent! We ordered a plethora of quesadillas, enchiladas, steak, tacos, rice, etc. Many of us shared and tried each others because everything looked and tasted delicious. The food was hot and fresh, and all 10 orders were correct! I enjoy authentic Mexican food, and this is it! This is great food at a wonderful price. I would say for 10 people, we all likely paid $20-$30 each with entree and one drink. We all enjoyed our drinks and some ordered two. Can't beat it! Sorry no pictures, let this review speak for itself! I live in the greater Philadelphia area and will be back next time I'm in the city...
