Project Joy Studio — Attraction in Philadelphia

I took my staff to Project Joy for a team building workshop. Joy was amazing to work with. She let me choose the date and time. My staff was able to relax and create art in a safe, comfortable environment. The studio is very inspiring with artwork and creations all around. Joy guided us through the process and encouraged us to be unique and go with the flow. The materials she had were fun and unique. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a new way to relax or find inspiration. Joy has many creative ideas and purposely made this type of art for the novice or experienced artist. I stumbled upon Project Joy Studios during an Open Studio Weekend last fall. I fell in love with the explosion of color in the space. Having experienced alcohol inks, I was curious to see what acrylic inks are all about, so I signed up for a class. It was fabulous! The technique was explained and there were many colors and supplies to choose from to personalize my artwork. Continuing my love affair with Joy and all her ideas and offerings, I bought some of her kits and puzzles for gifts and recommended her to a friend for her daughter's birthday party (which I attended last weekend). Another success! I can't wait to go back next weekend to see what it looks like after it dries and the stuff is removed! Joy's energy is boundless and her ideas are ever evolving. What a wonderful experience! Jessica was very easy to communicate with in the planning of our workshop. She gave us options and recommendations which ended up being the perfect workshop to meet our groups interest, time, and financial needs. The time spent in the studio was AMAZING! I was originally concerned the men in our group may not enjoy it as much as the females, but they all loved experimenting with Jessica’s process. We all did not want to leave!
