Pizza kicks ass. To address the complaints about service, since I live a block away and eat here all the time:
I think people are way too quick to complain on the internet. They are almost always incredibly busy during the dinner rush. Your pizza was left sitting on the oven? So maybe ask a question before you wait an extra 20 minutes you big whiny baby. No one is perfect. Never had an issue personally and they are always respectful and nice to me. Consider that most people who have good experiences do not comment online. Thus, the good number of excellent reviews on here should tell you something.
And when it comes down to it they could openly berate me to my face and I'd come back for more just to avoid living a life without their outrageously good pizza.
One last thing, and this is literally the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars. Accept credit cards. Seriously. Cash only? This isn't 1968. You are only passing on a headache, or cost, to your customers. The cost to the business to process credit cards is minimal. You will make it up easily by gaining those customers will want something quick and easy but don't have cash and end up eating down the street at one of the many other options. At this point a business being cash only is a blatant affront to their loyal customers. Get it...
Read moreI can't believe how bad this place is. I placed an order over the phone based on the menu they had posted online. The price for what I ordered was $14. They wanted to charge me $22. The reason was that they had not updated their website. When I spoke to the manager, I realized that the owner had hired an immature, obnoxious 14 year old to run their business. He was probably the worst business person I have ever spoken to. I hope his all future employers see this! Hopefully, he told everyone to look at this page. A business has an obligation to honor a price they have put out. And, they need to do that without being snotty to customers. I run a restaurant. I understand what it means to deal with people. I would never speak to anyone the way this douchebag spoke to me. I would immediately fire any employee of mine that spoke to a customer the way he spoke to me. I will never buy anything from Santucci's again. We ordered/went there about 2x a week. Good luck to Santucci's. I'll make sure every one I know knows how bad this place is and how horrible...
Read moreSo I placed an order and I was extremely specific about my order . Once my food arrived I was missing an ingredient... no big deal I’m super understanding. I called an informed the restaurant of the mistake and they said they would fix it , minutes later they called me back and said due to their busy delivery load they were unable to deliver my missing ingredient and I would have to wait ( I mentioned to them that the order was for children and they couldn’t wait for too long ( dinner / bedtime ) ..... so I was stuck explaing to a 4 year old why her spaghetti had NO CHEESE because the restaurant viewed it as a “small” item ... to me that’s horrible customer service ... Did I mention I gave a generous tip ... once again I’m super understanding, but to tell a customer NO because of an error on their part is ridiculous.... maybe it’s me 🤔 . I feel silly complaining, but I’ve never experienced such lack of regard as a paying customer. Everyone deserves a second chance if they are willing to take ownership of their faults . When did food become so...
