I have found the park to be a nice safe open green area that’s grown with our community and neighborhood. The trees have now grown for about a decade and they provide a great amount of shade with plenty of headroom to walk underneath if you’re tall or small. The open lawn is also a nice feature because you can be part of the crowd for the events that take place there, but also it gives you the opportunity to see the Philadelphia Center City skyline behind the rowhouses opposite the park.
