The food was VERY good, and Viboor the owner is the man.

We got nearly every specialty item: the lamb kebab “sizzling plate” was awesome buuuut they quickly had to bring another table over to accommodate the oversized dinner plates and sizzling dish. Also it came with only one onion piece when two would have matched everything bite for bite. Maybe smaller plates for the table set up will solve this.

We also got the chicken tikka masala entree, which was delicious. We ordered it medium spice and were confused when it had zero spice at all, maybe just a mixup. Typically when I’ve had “spiceless” masala I’ve been upset, but here it was still plenty flavorful to be devoured.

Last but not least is the specialty cheesy garlic naan. Stuffing this with tikka masala was a power move that I will be back many times for.

All in all I know there’s some growing pains to be had. That being said, I couldn’t be happier to have them in the neighborhood....

You can tell that this place is so passionate about their food and they love seeing people have a great time!! We sat outside on a beautiful night and our server was super nice and very attentive. The flavor profiles of our dishes were amazing (butter chicken and samosa chaat were so tasty) and the garlic naan was super flavorful—so fluffy with a perfectly charred undercarriage and excellent garlic flavor. Hands-down the best North Indian food in Philly. Honestly, it might be the only spot in the city delivering this level of authenticity and flavor, which makes it a true gem. So glad it’s in our NoLibs neighborhood. We especially love their dal makhani and butter chicken. We also used Tikka Mahal for a recent event and had them cater.
