One star review based on customer service.
I don't write many reviews and reserve them for especially great or poor experiences. Came here the other day with my wife after walking around the neighborhood. In the check out line and I realize I didn't bring my wallet. My fault. In that case I am not going to purchase anything. However I see something in the corner that I did want to check the price of, to decide if I want to go home and grab my wallet or not.
Lady at the counter starts yelling at me to stop and asks for ID. "I forgot my wallet" I tell her. "Wrong answer" she retorts (was there another answer choice?)
"I can't look?" I ask her. "I just want to check the price." "Uh uh no sir you cannot" she replies. Strange. My wife, holding her ID out, volunteers to go check it for me. Lady at the counter starts yelling at her instead "honey I am not going to let you go over there and buy anything for him." People are glaring. We leave upset and ashamed.
Hopefully someone in the supervisor role sees this review and kindly remind the staff that 1) you guys don't check for ID upon entry implying there is no law against browsing and 2) if your staff by default treat your patrons rudely you will lose business.
Franklin beverage is right down the street if you are looking for alcohol in this area.

It's interesting that businesses often try any way they can to undermine reviews as if it justifies poor...
Read moreI love this new W&S! It's big, beautiful, well light and well stocked! The customer service I received was above and beyond. The young man who was helping me, chilled one of my bottles while we picked out another bottle, mind blown. I had no idea W&S offered that option. I was super impressed. And I didnt spend a ton either, each bottle I purchased was under 15$. I highly recommend this W&S especially if you are looking for new wines to try but are unsure, just ask! Also the security is super friendly so overall a great...
Read moreA Philly wine and spirits store with parking and an upper deck with a staircase. I love their Scotch selection, in fact I purchased the Ardberg 5 yo from here. Hotel mini bar sized bottles are a available on the aisles as opposed to at the counter. Security allowed people to come in without masks though. There are no lines to get in here too as the footprint of this place...
