Tex’s Chicken & Burgers — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The food is good and clean, try their Mac and cheese it is delicious lol, so far I have had their bone in chicken ( spicy and mild ), their chicken breast sandwich ( spicy and mild ), their beef burgers, their shrimp, their salad, their fish stick, their fries, their macaroni and cheese obviously, their biscuits, and their 2 for 3 dollars chicken sliders, and I also tried their mashed potatoes but my tastebuds did not like it. Their biscuits can be dry sometimes but I still like them, I liked everything that I have tried so far, except for the mashed potatoes not sure why not, because I really like mashed potatoes. I did not try the other stuff yet but I recommend everything I tried already. The lobby is always clean the bathroom is always clean you can see through into the kitchen and it is always clean. The fries are made to order and the burgers are made to order the chicken sandwich are also made to order, they make them when you order, so they do not sit in the bin. You can also get delivery through Uber Eats, but they don't normally deliver. They always seem to have a different cashier, not sure why, but they are always smiling and so far they have always double check my order before I leave the restaurant. The owner operator surely cares about this establishment by the way it looks and the way they treat their customers. I recommend this place...

Nice place to eat from..they sell no pork or pork products, this is run by Islamic Brother and Sisters. The chicken does not taste like grease contrary to it's competitors (Popeye). The place smells like Mommas kitchen on Saturday night or Sunday after church. French fries are not so good. Biscuits, kids meals and they even have beyond burgers (plant based), be careful when ordering them, they cook them on the same grill with the chicken. This place is not too expensive, to give you an idea....8 piece chicken combo is $19.99, chicken only is $16.99, kids meal 6 piece chicken nuggets, soda and fries $6.99 or 2 piece chicken strips, fries, soda. Prices are a little high but not extravagant. All in all, it is a good place to eat, take out or dine in. It is crowded in the weekends, alot of Muslims (India) frequent it at that time...very friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice also. I have never gone in here and had a bad experience...good customer service from cashiers also. I Will definitely...

The tall Pakistani lady in front of cash doesn’t know how to give customer service . Today, I went there with my kid. She taking my order meanwhile she’s talking with another Pakistani girl constantly. That lady also customer. She might have known her. I have to repeat couple of times my order. When she gave my order she didn’t give any sauce. I went back and told her you didn’t give sauce, than she gave me 2 ketchup seriously my order was about $20 . I told her give me hot sauce she told me she don’t have. But the other Pakistani lady she gave her I more than 10 packs of hot sauce . Right away I went to her and told her you just told me you don’t have but now how you give her ? Then she gave 2 packs hot sauce . Now my question to the owner that , we are customers, we go your store to purchase food by our own money . We don’t go your store for begging food. So before and after hiring employees teach some manner...
