After a long day with family and freinds we all decided our party of nine 4 adults and 5 children ages 7 to 13 would have a good time here with assorted options on the menu a casual dining experience with a view. We arrived just after 3pm to be given the options to sit at High tops with a basic mid day menu of fries and burgers. Due to the wait until 4pm for the dinner menu. Only other option was to sit out kids around the bar area and wait 45 minutes. Once the confusion glfrom the staff settled we decided to wait at the lobby bar area to have drinks and appetizers for the kids and drinks for adults. We patiently waited. Prior to 4pm groups started to arrive and be seated when we were told that wasn't a option until 4pm to be seated. No mention of reservations so we assume 1st come 1st serve on a slow Sunday afternoon. Not the case. As people continue to arrive and be seated in groups of 2 4 6. We followed up to be told we didn't have reservations and we would have to wait yet again another 45 minutes. Manager chef and hostess all seemed un concerned and almost jokingly laughed that we had to still wait. We were dressed appropriately. Not dirty bums or inappropriate. We were discriminated again due to having children or not being hip enough for there crowd. Assuming of course. The bar tender that left early had opened a tab and at rotation of bar staff I was told they don't do tabs. Confused I asked for clarification. What do you mean no tab. The prior bartender had opened one even charging a dollar on my card. I only wanted to close that to tip the previous bartender as he was polite and courteous. The 4pm bartender got upset and with a attitude said im not trying to be rude but we don't do tabs. I proceeded to order 1 last drink and paid that bill to attempt to ask hostess if we had been condlsiderd for seating yet as over 45min past. We were told no table was available or ready. My wide and other parents at that point were in dis belief as we eat out every weekend and never ever experienced the treatment that we received from this group of unprofessional inexperienced staff. With no concern about the customer. The manager only wanted to argue and state we should have asked sooner to be seated and they could have accommodated us. What a terrible experience. Our contribution to this restaurant would have well been over $ 500 dollars. Your loss and staff should be...
Read moreWe had the worst experience at this location yesterday. Poor communication from their staff members and their manager. We were in town visiting due to a soccer tournament, we went to this location hoping to sit and order drinks and food for 2 families. Due to a change of menu from Midday to dinner we decided to wait for their dinner menu due to more option in food. Waited 45 minutes in the lobby area by the bar, we order drinks and french fries to feed our hungry young kids we had with us. People start showing up at 4pm and they were seated first because they had reservation and we didn't. For the 45 minutes we waited at their lobby area by the bar, we were not informed a reservation had to be made. We thought we would be first in line to tend to since we were physically there for 45 minutes. Unfortunately that was not the case. We requested 15 minutes prior to 4pm that if they could sit our party and we'll be happy to order from both menus, unfortunately our request was declined, so we waited another 15 minutes to have other people that made reservation be seated before our party of 9.
I'm not sure if were were under dress to be there, or is it because we had kids. We came from a soccer tournament, so t-shirts and shorts were worn....Either or it was poor communication from their staff members and terrible customer service. ...
Read moreVisited yesterday morning for Sunday Brunch. The website stated that The Deck outdoor seating is “first come, first serve”. However upon arrival I was informed that if you did not have a reservation at the restaurant below, the Moshulu, you would not be seated at a high top or a table on the deck and instead could only sit at the bar. This was a sticking point for a number of parties and caused confusion as 4 parties sat around the bar while about 6-7 tables remained opened and untouched for over an hour. The Deck was out of Maker’s Mark and cranberry juice despite it being ingredients in several of their menu cocktails. A woman at the bar sent back her Bloody Mary as the mix was not satisfactory. Their dishwasher is broken and they were reusing glassware for...
