Had to check out this new spot while visiting Philly and am so glad we did! We reserved for couch seating before the required minimum fees start at 10.
Service: initially very attentive but as the place got busier the drinks sometimes took awhile. Not a big deal. It was a little weird sometimes when 1 or 2 drinks would come and not the rest or the order but I know they were just trying to get them out.
Drinks: we didn’t get any food so can’t comment but cocktails were decent. I wouldn’t say amazing but pretty good and I liked them.
Music: two guys sang cover song hits from the late 90s to now. They really tried to rally everyone. They were ok singers and would take singing breaks occasionally and then dj music for awhile. They were fun and entertaining.
Vibes: Its a fun place! Good for celebrations, and a friends night out or date night. There were a few bday groups, then some girls who work there come out with sparks, lights, and signs to announce the bday. Theres bar length seating, a bunch of high tables, and about 7 couch areas. When we went I think all the tables had been reserved and there were still some bar seats open. Then there’s a dance space by the stage. It’s a smaller place than I thought it would be but I think it makes it classier in a way. Its nicer inside than I anticipated because I was thinking more Austin style live music venue.
I will definitely go back the next time Im in Philly and look forward to seeing new musicians/ singers. Getting couch seating was everything! With a group its key to...

As a former Philly resident now living in Houston, every time I come back to the city, VINYL is an absolute must-stop for drinks and dinner. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of stylish and laid-back, with just the right vibe to unwind after a long day.
The cocktails are top-tier—crafted with precision and creativity—and the food? Always on point. Whether it’s small bites or a full meal, everything is packed with flavor and clearly made with fresh, quality ingredients.
One of the highlights of my experience was the bottle service—absolutely worth it. It made the night feel even more vibrant and seamless, with top-notch service that kept everything flowing effortlessly. Definitely the way to go if you’re looking to elevate your night.
Beyond the food and drinks, what really makes VINYL stand out is the service. The staff is genuinely welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. They know their menu inside and out, always ready with a great recommendation.
Philly has a lot of great spots, but this one keeps me coming back. If you’re in town and looking for a place with a great ambiance, stellar drinks, and fantastic food, VINYL should be at the top...
Read moreFirst time visitor and it was absolutely horrible. When we arrived during happy hour and there were a large number of tables open. Once seated, it took about 10-15 minutes for someone to greet us and offer us service. My guest and I took time to look over the menu while our server went to get us water. When she came back with room temperature water ( 1 glass had a single piece of ice & my glass had none) I explained it was our first time and asked were there any specials and what goes on here. She gave us nothing. Just blank stares. Not only did I have to ask about the specials but I had to ask about food options as well as the server’s name. This is basic common sense as it being apart of her job. (Jen) the server’s name was completely rude and dismissive to myself and my guest. We ended up leaving before we could get any service. And even after speaking with a manager, whom was also dismissive, I’m for certain I won’t ever be back. It’s a shame because it’s a nice atmosphere...
