I will definitely not be returning to this location. We had a reservation for 6 people and showed up with 6 people, but the hostess walked us to a table with 5 chairs and 5 place settings and then just walked away without taking a second to make sure all was well. It took several minutes to hunt someone down to help us. I wouldn’t have thought much of that mistake if it weren’t for the rest of the night. The service was incredibly slow. After ordering drinks, most were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, but the water, soda and bread that were ordered took probably 30 minutes to arrive. We ordered our food and proceeded to wait… and wait… and wait. Finally, about an hour later, the waiter came to our table to let us know that they were out of one of the orders placed and the kitchen hadn’t started cooking any of the food because of it. By that time, we should have been halfway through our meals but nothing was started and no one had told us. The waiter was very quick to blame the kitchen. After our food finally arrived, we asked for ketchup for my daughter’s French fries. It never came until she was halfway through her dessert. Because we had a show to get to and had been there for over 2 hours, we had to rush through our meals and most of us barely had time to touch our desserts (which we ordered before our food even came because it was all taking so long). The food was good, but we had no time to enjoy it and it was just a big waste of time and money. We didn’t get refills and anytime we needed something, we had to try to flag down the waiter. Plates were never cleared. We had to push our dinner plates aside to make room for dessert plates. Boxes weren’t offered. Perhaps it was understaffed, but it certainly was not busy when we were there. We were sitting in a room of mostly empty tables. Also, the women’s bathroom had plumbing issues. There were big puddles of water around many of the toilets. There were also broken locks on the doors, broken toilet paper holders, no soap in the dispensers, and they clearly hadn’t been cleaned. All in all, it was just a...
Read moreFirst time at this location, I am not from Philly and I like Cheesecake Factory, plus it was close to the hotel. Went there 07/30. It was way before the rush. As soon as my party got seat, we’ve seen the red flags. First, the server didn’t come at the table for at least 10 minutes, not even to greet us. We were the first table seat in his section, then another couple came in. The server brought some waters, but then proceed to take the couple order, even if we were first.. which I didn’t care that much at the moment. But then he mistakes the drink we ordered, and it took 40 minutes after we got seat to place a food order and to get a correct drink order. We had to ask for the bread which we know it’s coming as a greeting… and he was surprised as we shouldn’t… then, I specified I can’t have cilantro, and if kitchen cannot modify I will choose something else but he agreed to accommodate my asking (I had the Asian tacos wrapped in lettuce). When my food came out, it had cilantro.. I didn’t even eat; but he never came to ask why or what happened. appetizers and the other food were amazing as always! But nobody checked on us at ALL… and we had to approach the hostess for a steak knife.. it was a terrible service. We were keep looking at the other servers how they are keep going to their tables and we wished for that service. At the end we had to wait for our check, which we were already in a rush… we were not there for a dinner, but for something to eat and go (because we were tourists). It might of been the problem we were young? I don’t know but you can’t judge by that, we are servers ourselves and this service will never be accepted in any other restaurant we ever been/work. I have so many other things to say, I just didn’t have time to ask for a manager and I never complained anywhere but this situation ruined my whole mood. And i know the name of...
Read moreWaitress was very polite and food was good, but it does not make up for the length of time waiting for the food to come out and the disorganization on their system. We arrived at around 11:45AM on a Tuesday 11/15/2022. There were hardly any guests, yet the food took 45 minutes to come out. It always takes so long in this location. The waitress made an error when taking our orders and gave us two extra salads, which she took back, no problem. We only had about 20 minutes left to eat before our parking meter ran out, so we scarfed down the food quickly. When I asked for the check, the waitress said she needed to speak to the manager to fix her mistake with the salad. That took 15 more minutes. My brother had a digital gift card which she instructed us to put online but gave us no direction. We attempted to input the information for 10 minutes and nothing worked. When I told her, she said she did not know what to do. Then, I gave her a physical gift card I myself had, and she said she had to give it to the manager. That took an extra 15 minutes. She came back saying it was not working. So two unused Cheesecake gift cards did not "work." I said that's fine and that I had to go before the parking time expired, so I attempted to pay online with Apple Pay, and that TOO did not work. Luckily, I had my credit card with me.
It should not take TWO hours on a Tuesday morning/early afternoon with so many barriers to have a meal. Needless to say, we did not enjoy our experience. Cheesecake needs to get their system in check, train their employees better, and do something about the speed of service. If they do not get back to me, I will no longer be gifting gift cards nor visiting any...
