On Morning of June 15, 2024 my husband and I went in for breakfast. We are regular customers and is there at least once a week for breakfast. This visit was absolutely terrible. We were seated, received our drinks and was forgotten about. We noticed people who arrived AFTER us were receiving service and food. Finally after about 40 minutes we asked about our order…. EVERYONE began to scramble. Our waitress JACKIE hurriedly came to our table and offered us a CINNAMON ROLL! Telling us that there was a “glitch” in their system which caused our order to NEVER be placed. Had JACKIE been checking on our table she would have known that there was some type of delay with our order. We requested a manager whose name is DARCY, at the front door as we were leaving. DARCY stated “I was going to take care of your meals today” It was too late by then! Had JACKIE owned the fact that she NEVER placed our order and told us “We are going to prepare your meals and it will be taken care of” We would have stayed. INSTEAD she offered us CINNAMON ROLL!!!! Although DARCY was kind and apologized, there’s literally ALWAYS something wrong when we visit. THIS TIME TOOK THE CASE!!! Previously we received our pancakes AFTER our breakfast was already finished, another time “Yet another “Pardon Me I’m New” waitress couldn’t get our order right for the life of her and brought out burnt hash browns, which had to be taken back. Yesterday as we were leaving the cooks went out to smoke, another waitress came out to smoke and a waiter came out to smoke. Hopefully their employees practice handwashing! I am also writing the corporate office and my husband and I still want to BE OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION TO ASK FOR US TO RETURN AND TAKE CARE OF OUR ORDER!! Make This ABSOLUTELY AWFUL visit right!!!! Looking forward to a response to regarding this review. I did let DARCY know I’d be leaving a review regarding our experience on the morning of Saturday June...
Read moreMy 1st time at Biscuits and I was not impressed at all. The portions were good, if they were cooked to order. The only thing that was good and prepared correctly was the ham. I ordered the BYOB; 2 buttermilk pancakes, egg scrambled soft w/ toast, ham and hashbrowns crispy which my receipt reflected. My meal arrived without my pancakes and the scrambled soft egg was hard. I sent back the eggs 2 times, by the time the my eggs were decent (still not soft) my toast was cold. I ordered my hashbrowns crispy which only the top was crispy then underneath mushy so only ate the top. I ordered pancakes with no syrup, well they came with syrup and it got on my pancakes so those went back. Once i got my pancakes I needed a steak knife to cut them as my fork was not enough to cut through buttermilk pancakes so those didnt get eaten either. (My pancakes came after I had eaten half of my eggs, sent back the hasbrown, and eaten my ham.) The waitress also commented "so you just didn't like any of it" to which I replied "maybe if it was prepared as I ordered but I didnt have that option." Basically all I had eaten was the ham. After being here for nearly an hour my mothers coffee was refilled once but only after asking twice and never offered to refill my Dr. Pepper. I ate each item separately, not how I would normally eat at a restaurant. Needless to say I will not be returning which is sad as I have heard great things about the Tempe location of Biscuits. Now I don't think I'll even try that location. Sadly it pains me to say I have had better food and service at Dennys and thats saying ALOT... If you want to try Biscuits try another location as 3rd St and Bell location not worth $17 for a...
Read moreI'm a little mixed feelings on my visit to Biscuits Cafe.
First off I was highly surprised when we pulled up a little after noon on a Sunday and the parking lot was empty. I had to double check there hours cause I thought they were closed but they were opened. As you could see from my picture it was very empty with only 2 other tables taken. Another surprise was how long it took for us to be greeted and then seated. For as empty as it was we should've been greeted within seconds and seated right away.
Once we got seated our server was very kind and friendly. My next surprise was the prices!! $6.29 for flavored Lemonade with no refills. I could understand if there was alcohol in but it was just Lemonade. As far as food, we ordered the Keeping it Simple where you pick 3 items to build your plate. We choose the French toast, Pancake and Ham steak. This plate was delicious. For the amount of food that came on the plate, it was worth the price. We also ordered the BBQ Bacon Western Burger. This burger was massive! It was made for a great Instagram photo but definitely not made to easily eat. I had to remove a lot of the insides just so I can attempt to but it. Then when I went to take a bit the bread was so hard I couldn't even boot into it. My knife wouldn't even cut it. So I ate it like an open faced sandwich. I must say though, our server was very apologetic and they did take care of it.
These might be reasons why it was empty on a Sunday afternoon. To be honest, we probably...
