We had a nice lunch at Panera Bread today. The broccoli cheddar bread bowl was very tasty and comforting, just like always. The soup was rich and creamy, and it went well with the bread bowl. The mac and cheese was okay, but it wasn’t anything special. It was creamy but didn’t have a unique flavor that stood out. The restaurant was very busy during lunchtime, which is normal, but we were happy to see that it was clean. The staff did a good job keeping the tables clear and the floors clean even though there were a lot of people. One thing we noticed was that there were fewer drink options than usual. They had a smaller selection of lemonade and iced teas than we’re used to seeing at Panera. It would be nice if they had more choices available. For dessert, we had a cinnamon roll. It was flavorful and sweet, but it would have been better if it was warmed up. This would have made it even more delicious and gooey. Overall, we had a good experience at Panera Bread. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly. We will probably come back again because we usually enjoy the food and the atmosphere here. Even though there were a few small things that could be improved, like the drink selection and warming up the cinnamon roll, it was still a nice lunch.

Have been avoiding after repeated misses on our takeout orders, but one of the kiddos had a craving. Sigh. Unfortunately, it hasn’t gotten better. Lucky for us, my 14-yr old managed what the staff apparently could not: read the ticket and count the number of items in the bag. So, at least we managed to get all that we paid for this time… sorta. Unfortunately, she assumed that each item was what it was intended to be. Oops. An order for Mexican corn chowder turned out to be french onion soup. It’s good soup, but nothing like what was ordered. Oh well. It happens (reliably at this location). It’s on us to believe that a few months would magically fix. Makes you wonder though. I mean, seriously. Panera hasn’t scratch-made at their stores for years. Just open the food service bags and assemble. The PoS tells you what to do, and when to do it. Every item is printed on the ticket. I have a hard time believing the work is too complex, even for the most minimally skilled worker. So, I can only conclude it’s a result of poor local management and weak standards (ie not enough f—-s given). Combine that with central “leadership” focused on financial metrics, well, this makes sense. They seem to be doing just fine, and I do like a lot of their food, but I give up.

Fresh, quality, fairly healthy food. The Fuji apple salad with chicken is one of the best salads anywhere. The half portion is an adequate size and the chicken is tasty. The dressing is very good and complements the salad. One plus of Panera used to be the easy modification of ordering through the kiosk. That is becoming limited. I used to substitute the Gorgonzola for fresh mozzarella at a slight up-charge and add spinach, olives, and cucumbers for free. They must have gotten rid of the fresh mozzarella. The tuna salad is tasty. It has a smooth texture and is not too fishy. However, they have reduced the portion size so the half sandwich is like a horderve with very little tuna. They sometimes are behind on estimated pick up times. I hope they stop with the portion cutting.

I ordered online for the first time and and put in my correct address in...This was a first time for me ordering online from the location on bell road in Phoenix. So I guess the driver couldn't find my apartment, there are a lot of buildings so I said its building 27, THAT IS CORRECT! The manager told me that I was wrong and that there was no apartment or building that existed and that the driver went to the main office of the complex and they agreed...REALLY so now I don't know where I live? BS they turned it around on me like I did something wrong when I didn't they have horrible service and I will never eat there again. I repeated my address back 2 times and they kept insisting that I was wrong! The manager actuslly hung up on me because i wouldmt let hee talk over me any longer and tell me i was lying about my building. I can't believe it, I know where I live and I have deliveries here all of the time from other places that have no problems. I waited outside for the driver and he never came...I tried to tell her that he was going to the wrong place and she insisted I was still wrong! The kid lied, he didn't go to main office to try to find my place he told me he was looking for 2038...I didn't put that in my address for delivery! I had to call the manager back who hung up on me because I had paid for the food...she then told me they wouldn't deliver the food. That I could pick it up? Um...NO, I paid extra fees for delivery...plus they need to do their job. So in the end I had to be on the phone with the delivery kid, because he couldn't find my apartment with GPS...but I can get a delivery from anyone else with no problems.... I'm upset because the rude manager didn't ever once say sorry, blamed me for her rudeness, told me her driver was right and I was wrong and told me I was lying about where I live! She gets a negative 10 on...

Went here and had complications with the self service ordering system because it would only permit me to use one gift card per order. Went to the counter to explain the situation and they said i would have to re order it with them and cancel my order on the self service. Went to check out and they said that my one gift card had a zero balance and i tried explaining to them the self service showed they both had $10 on them ( i knew this because i just bought them moments before in a pack of 5 cards) I tried explaining the situation to the manager "Maria"(3:39 pm, 12/19/2016) that they both showed up on the kiosk moments before and she informed me its not her problem and suggested to the other employee to throw it away. I told the young man to give it back and i would check on the website to confirm that they had money on them, just moments later i was able to show them that they both did and he went to ask for the managers assistance again, when he went over and asked her she said to run them again and if they don't work to bad. After he ran them a third time they went threw fine and his manager had no respect to come tell her customers she was sorry for the inconvenience and only gave us nasty looks when she cam out to clean the dozen or more dirty tables in the lobby. I will be in contact with corporate of this issue and will not be going back to this location again. I have been to Panera Bread hundreds of times over the years back in PA and here since they have opened, this location is a disgrace to the...

Worst experience I have ever had at a Panera Bread. I WILL NOT be returning after this. This actually made me cry today. I just had surgery on my mouth and can BARELY eat. My husband went to this Panera to get me some soup and kindly asked them if they could blend the soup in 1 of their 4 blenders. They said no. They said they “wouldn’t even know how to clean it after”. How incompetent do we have to be? To not be able to know how to WASH something when we are done using it? I worked for this company for YEARS and had ALWAYS accommodated to the customers. I am so sad that I cannot eat the soup my husband WASTED money on, literally brought me to tears. Only for the manager to say “oh I’m so sorry, there’s nothing I can do”. I am beyond frustrated. If Panera employees can’t take on the task of accommodating its customers then I’m not sure why they’re even a company! Maybe this store needs a new manager and staff. Maybe corporate needs to come and have some more trainings. MAYBE GET AN EXTRA BLENDER FOR THIS SINCE I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS ASKED FOR THIS BEFORE. I just honestly think this was so petty of the employees to not be able to help. What a wreck of a store. Pathetic excuse for a manager. Again, I will not be coming back to this or any Panera after this. It’s not the first issue I’ve had here and I’m sure it won’t be anyone’s last. Steer clear of here folks! Take your money to Wildflower or something better, Panera is just a big corporate company that doesn’t give a sh!t about you...
