Okay. How you say was the chick-fil-a? Okay let's see it was very very but not so surprisingly very disappointing. Continue giving Google reviews they say. Okay if you insist. So well at this time that I've been given the notice from Google to give a review. I have already been just off the phone with what may have been the incredibly attractive attentive manager. She seemed very good her job. However even back in the shop upon ordering in addition to my making it clear to the incredibly rather vocal a bit very well trained. He had a very loud deep voice. And he made just a bit too much of a point of wanting to know the customer's name and then call it out. He then had three individuals that were obviously friendly and with each other but instead of trying to ask that they wanted to go in the same order he took three separate doors it took long time. No going back to the fact that I was then recommended by one of the employees to get back in line and order a couple of dessert items. I eventually gave up and left because he was the only one taking orders this young vocally loud individual. Again I'll be very good at his training and good at his job. Just very loud. It's a shame for all the would be appearing to be management team members that were standing around him and even the lower level no one seem to have thought to stand in front of another register and help him out.
Now that said I don't mind writing this review also. Because I got home and after having ordered three sandwiches I in the bag only saw two. This was disappointing. This is also not surprising as I rarely come to this restaurant I do not see the thrill in Chick-fil-A all they sell is chicken. And yet on the rare cases I go there I always seem to be disappointed. To all you folks that may love the chick-fil-a. Good for you. Very rare these days to see the employees behind the counter heading to fill your soda or beverage drinks. So much of a majority of the restaurants out there have you taken care of yourself which seems more appropriate nowadays. And maybe respectfully again to the young man who took the order he was I want to say bent on but maybe just a bit overly intent on asking how many dipping sauce deals I wanted. I think after last seven eight years of going this place but very rarely. I may have the same criticism maybe if these places like other restaurants and actually offered sauce on the sandwiches back in the prep area you wouldn't need to make such an emphasis and asking the customer what kind of dipping sauce...
Read moreI love Chik-fil-A. I recently moved to the area and was happy to learn it was so close to me!
My experience, however, made me wish there was another location closer.
I used the drive through on a Tuesday evening and ordered a combo. I tend to be very detailed with my order so that there's no confusion and I get it the way I want it. That includes telling the drink choice and fry size along with the special prep for the sandwich. This order was a chicken filet sandwich combo with cheese, no pickle, fries medium with a large diet Dr. Pepper. The girl who was taking my order was so obsessed with trying to figure out if I just wanted my drink large that she interrupted me ordering 3 times. She kept asking if I wanted the fries large and then when started to say yes she would interrupt me and say or just the drink. First time I said yes she interrupted me with "yes what?" I replied that she asked if I wanted the fries large and I said yes. Still obsessed with the either or question instead of just taking the upsale and running, she replied "which is it, sir?" By this time I'm irritated because she's interrupted me each time I've tried to continue on to clarify the order after answering. If she had simply stopped talking and listened she would have had any and all questions answered and correctly entered my order and I would have also remembered to order my shake and I would have also ended up with cheese and no pickle on the sandwich.
The kid at the window was just as frustrating becuase instead of listening to me attempt to clarify the order he just stood there, spoke out my order handed me the bag and shut the...
Read moreThird time here in three weeks and third time not encountering the supposed Chick Filet culture. Fist time, I walked in and an employee walked with to-go orders in one hand and he didn't bother to greet me, just looked at me, and couldn't make an effort to hold the door open for me to catch it. Second time, a very abbreviated indifferent greeting by the person taking my order - atmosphere didn't feel good either. Third time, I approach the store and an old lady is near the doors to leave and an employee walks in and doesn't bother to hold the door for her nor greet her. I had to wait in line for an inordinate time while the person in front of me (an employee) negotiated a free meal deal with the employee on the prep side. That was ok because we were waiting on the order taker to finish her playful conversation with another employee ordering a meal; for several minutes. All the time, two supervisor looking employees were focused on the free meal conversation. They could have helped the line move along by taking orders or at least have conversation with those of us waiting in line while a long casual conversation went on. When I finally get to place my order the employee just looks at me like she wants to enter a staring competition...so I wait and she finally grunted is this to go or stay. The employee that eventually came out with my to go order just looked at me and held the bag out. No words at all like thank you or have a good night. Won't return here for many months or so. Maybe never. Plenty of other...
