Long Wongs Hot Wings & Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Pure garbage..and I'm not hard to please with food...I've actually never even wrote a review in my life but this eating experience was truly horrible that I must warn others...the wings were beyond pathetic...we ordered two dozen ...barely any meat on them ...the wimpiest wings Ive ever had the displeasure of being served, and they were cold.....maybe if I was just feeling a bit peckish they would have sufficed ..but I was hungry on a normal level ..Also the hot sauce was like any other wing sauce and had no heat at all. We also ordered (4 of us) fried zucchini and chili cheese fries which were actually ok, nothing great ..but ok... we also ordered chicken strips for our daughter which where substandard in their own respect...sad to say ..but for the first time in my life I went out to dinner twice in the same day.....meatless wings = an empty stomach.I politely asked the manager/owner(?) if the wings were always like this or did we just get a bad batch..I'd heard so many good recommendations of this place I didnt want to come to a premature conclusion....she didnt seem happy at all that I was speaking with her..and I was polite as always..but she told me "yes, the wings are always this size" and continued with her business .. she did not offer in any way to reconcile for the meatless wings...2 doz wings/ fried zuchhini/chili cheese fries/and chicken strips totaled $42 ....waste of money...beware of this place..get your...

For the Hot and Suicide wings they use white pepper, which comes from the black pepper plant(Piper nigrum), and it doesn't have what all the other pepper plants have, like cayenne that makes it hot which is the chemical Capsaicin, white pepper has the chemical "Piperine" so it tastes a bit different than most places, but still gives you that pepper rush and it is quite delectable, very good, tasty, and satisfying, I ordered the suicide. It smells a bit vinegary but they say none was added, the unique smell comes from the white pepper itself, and you'll notice the smell is reminiscent of black pepper.(Inside a black peppercorn it's white and its processed different)

The wings themselves are cooked to perfection, crispy and are very very good, sauce applied evenly with the given half wings and half drums(upper part of wing.) This is one of the best places in town to get wings at. A real treat. Price is good too. So what if its not the best decor inside, it's the food that counts, right!? I wish they were closer to my place. They won the Phoenix New Times Paper- Best wings in Phoenix one year. Recommended and would...

Not sure if this makes sense! I placed an order over the phone, the total amount was for $66.46. 45 minutes later I place another order because we missed 2 people in the office.when I call long wongs to place the order a woman by the name of carol took the order. She was rude and had no customer service!maybe she doesn’t like her job” anywho I proceeded to placed my order, when I was ready to paid carol said we don’t take orders under $50 dollars. I told her I just had placed another order 45mins ago and we missed two people in the office, she continued by saying we don’t take orders under $50 because PEOPLE DO FRAUD BY CALLING THEIR BANK SAYING THEY DIDNT ORDER WITH US. She refused to process my order and when I asked to speak to a manager,store manager or some above her she replied by saying I handle this store.if you’re the person handling this store! Why don’t you have better people skills or customer service? I been buying lunch for my team from this store and spend about $100 every time. I will not be spending my money at this location anymore. Because carol assumes I will be calling my bank to say I didn’t make...
