Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

I am never ordering from this store or company again. Store closes at midnight. I ordered pizza and wings at 11pm. While I was making my order with the guy at the store. I got an incoming call from the same store. I didnt answer cause I was giving my order. After waiting an hour with no delivery. I call the store inquiring where my food is. The lady said that their orders were backed up and that she had called customers to tell them this and if they didnt answer the order would he voided. I told her how on earth did she call me to tell me this while I was in the process of giving my order! I was litterally still talking to the store employee when they called me. So now its been an hour that I sat here starving only to find out that they canceled my order and refunded my money. I asked her how they are going to cancel a customers order without telling them? They need to keep calling till they get a hold of that customer to tell them this. I dont know if this is company policy, but I have never in my life have delt with this. I ordered online through the app which made me order from this location. I received a pop-up that my order had been delivered. I waited 10 minutes, then called the store location. I spoke to a male who said his name was Sean and that he owned the store. When I tried to explain what was going on, he kept interrupting me and shouting at me. He even swore at me! He said they didn’t have enough delivery drivers and that’s why it showed my order as being delivered??? That may no sense to me so I asked him to explain and he swore at me and screamed at me and wouldn’t let me speak so I told him I would call Corporate and he said go ahead. It’s his store he didn’t care. I called Corporate spoke with Sheila who said she would put in a claim for me to complain about Sean the quality of the food because it was absolutely cold when it finally got here the cheese was all congealed totally inedible. I asked the driver to let me check the pizza because it was so overdue but the rude older man just turned & hurried away! I expect a full refund! My family and I just moved into a new residency, and while we were checking the mail we noticed a BOGO coupon to get one large pizza at full price, and one free. The idea of pizza sounded much better than trying to wrangle all of the dishes out of the boxes, so we decided to go with it. The website was straightforward, convenient, and very easy to use! Plus, there is a variety of choices on the website for specific taste, which we did use and very much enjoyed.

The delivery quote time was about 35 to 45 minutes, but I swear the pizza was made and delivered in 20! I'm so upset that I forgot the driver's name, because not only did he thank us for ordering from Papa John's, but he was also super nice and very patient because I forgot to get his tip. I always leave a tip online for the services, and one specifically for the driver. Our drinks came as we needed, and the pizzas were made to exact order, hot, in fresh!
