I came here just now after work on a whim because it was on the way home and my place was busy. I wanted a full acrylic set. I sat down and they did take me immediately, and to be honest the place was dirty, but I was just happy they got me in. The technician put my hands on a dirty towel and she was using this metal tool to scrape all acrylic off of her otherwise dirty nail clippers. I was not offered any sort of service menu and there was not one posted on the wall, and there was little communication during the service. She finished the set and it looks alright, but there is no cuticle care involved whatsoever. Barely any drilling, and she didn’t push back my cuticles prior to the application. She literally glued some nails on and proceeded with acrylic. She did not give me the option if I wanted regular polish or gel polish, so she just started painting because she was in a hurry. But it was fine. At the beginning of the appointment I mentioned that I wanted black nails, but I kind of wanted with flowers, she told me that just black would look better and I could tell she was in a hurry so I just let her do what she wanted. Also she kept drinking from her plastic water bottle the whole time and then touching my hands which is pretty gross. Anyways, she finishes them up, anyways the nails look OK and my cuticles look awful. I respectfully asked if cuticle care doesn’t come with the service (which is $60) to which she replied it doesn’t, it’s extra. I get my nails done regularly so I would have been fine with that, but as I said before, she never gave me a service menu or presented me with the option (which is what I responded with). Anyways, another nail technician overheard and started literally yelling at me lol. Same lady who was yelling right before that about a customer not tipping her enough. She said, even if I have never been there before it’s my job to ask for cuticle care? And to be honest, I have never been to a nail salon that doesn’t take care of your cuticles when they are giving you a manicure. I know callus removal is extra in pedicures….but acrylic enhancement is an enhancement to a manicure….? Anyways long story short, disrespectful techs, unclear service menu and communication,...

I have lived in Phoenix a short time and have had difficulty finding someone who can do "dip gel". Giving up on the fact no one here knows what in the hell I'm talking about, I started paying attention to others nails. A lady working at a local dealership had the most amazing nails... She told me Anthony Lee Nails was the place to go. Well let me tell you, my nails are NOTHING close!!!! Let me start with, I had to get matter of fact when it came to removing my gel nails. He tried to talk me into a fill. Knowing they didn't have the product, I asked for a new set. He wanted to pop them off, I demanded they be soaked off. He got a bit frustrated with my request but complied. He asked me about length, width and thickness. I like the dip system because it's thin and hard as nails. So I told him I wanted to maintain the same length and didn't want them thick. I agreed the length they were cut to. But then he filed off half the length to nubs. At first it was hard to tell because the tips were placed back further than I realized. The acrylic is twice the thickness I was expecting. He said he would file it down. I had to file the thickness down once I got home, it did nothing to fix the length or width. They're short, fat and thick. They look like cheap press on nails from the drug store!! I would go back and ask for them to be redone... But my cuticles are so sore and swollen it would go from bad to worse!!!

The part that gets me, if someone told you that they were referred to your business, wouldn't you go out of your way to get it RIGHT the first time??
