The only reason I gave this a 3 star review was because I love the products they have. The customer service was awful. It was my first time shopping here and I was putting together a last minute arts and crafts project, but I didn't know where anything was. I spent an hour in the store because the staff was so obviously bothered by me asking where things were, that I decided I would rather look for it myself and after wandering around and grabbing a few things, I decided to leave without everything I needed because no way was I sticking around to ask for anymore help. About a week later, my husband and I decided to go back to look at everything they had and he is very picky on what stores he does business with. He bases it on the customer service and the overall feeling of the store. The first thing he mentioned was that there was no greeting when we walked in and passed 3 different employees (who all looked up at us, so they definitely saw us). Then he mentioned how quiet it was. There was a very uncomfortable energy of displeasure in the store. We didn't stay longer than 5 minutes, because even though we loved the products that were offered, we were both so uncomfortable just being in there. I don't want to go back if I'm being honest, and I hope that changes because I love arts and crafts and I do it often. I spent over $100 at this store when I went and I'd honestly be more willing to buy stuff on Amazon and wait the shipping time to...
Read moregreat! First to see if they had pre-made flower arrangements to take to the cemetery for my Son. I have bought several before. Was told on the phone they had them. I'm dealing with pre-back surgery and can not walk easily. Finally found an associate in the back of the store, asked her for what I needed, she took me to floral in the front of the store, showed me a small floral wrapped on paper, know knowledge of cemetery arrangements. So, as I felt no other choice, I bought $36 dollars worth of flowers and materials to make an arrangement to take to my Son at the Veteran's cemetery on Monday. Had to go to Hobby Lobby after to get the other materials I needed for a cemetery vase, that Michael's did not have. Their selection and quality was sooo much better, floral choices o er the top and supplies I needed in stock. If I wasn't having sooo much trouble walking, I would have bought everything from Hobby Lobby and returned all of my purchase to Michael's. So disappointed in your store.. I have bought my pre-made floral arrangements for the cemetery for my Son, 6 times a year since 2009. Your store has changed, your floral area is not great and I won't return. So sad for a difficult...
Read moreUsed to like this Michaels although it never really had as much as others. This past week I experienced 2 very rude girls working at the registers. One just a very bratty attitude. The other incident, the girl who was helping us was rolling her eyes waiting on me. I was told some misinformation from another [nice] worker in the back so I had to take more time than usual. I believe the same girl was up front with the 2nd incident but not helping me. I could be wrong but they both were talking to us with an attitude or that's really just how they talk? One was lounging around on one of the register counters while not signed in. Absolutely rude tone. Regardless, the eye rolling and impatient shaking made us very uncomfortable. The misinformation from 2 different people did not help at all either. You could tell the girl at the register was annoyed from the get go before we even had the little issue. Usually, Michaels workers are really kind and enjoy art. I've never had an issue in Michaels before. These 2 just kind of ruined the need to go to this Michaels...
