First off I understand when a business is busy and understaffed. I have no issues waiting on my order when this happens. What I don't have any patience for is extremely rude employees. I placed my order on the app. Showed up 2 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. There were 6 other people in the lobby. One man was from a food delivery service and asked the person at the register how long the order would be because if it was longer than 5 mins they would have to cancel. She responded she didn't really know, but would guess around 10 minutes. He cancelled and left. A woman with her daughter was trying to tell her daughter they had to go somewhere else because they were taking too long. I just stood to the side and waited. I looked at the screen and saw that my order had one more in front of me. I stood to the side of a puddle of smoothie that was splattered all over the floor. The employee with the long blue hair (that wasn't secured) who was making the food was finishing up on two bowls. When she was done, she put them in the cubbies and turned back around. Not a word. A man behind me looked at the order and said "excuse me" 3 times and the woman just ignored him. Finally on the fourth time she finally just stared at him and he asked if that was all of the order, she just said 'it's what's on the tag'. He asked if there was any way to see if there was anything else (i'm guessing he was also a food delivery service). She just repeated "it's what's on the tag". During this time the woman at the register was making smoothies. I could tell that they were part of my order. She brought them to the cubbies and said "for Stephanie, sorry for the wait" I said "no worries, thank you". I then waited for my food. The blue haired woman placed a bag next to where the smoothies were. I looked in the bag and saw that an item was missing. I said "excuse me" 5 times, then just said "can you please stop ignoring me I know you hear me" and then she turned around. I said "is this for Stephanie". She replied, "If I put it next to the smoothies it is". I then said "I'm missing the sweet potatoes though." her reply "it's because i'm not done yet." then she went to make another flatbread, then reached over and grabbed my sweet potato side walked over and put them in the bag. I then asked for her name. She just said "we're busy" I replied. I'm asking for your name, if you can reply with 'We're busy, you can say your name." She then turned around and walked away. Read moreI go to this place all the time at least once or twice a week I get the egg pesto peppers with feta cheese wrap I am a pescatarian but I do still eat eggs and feta cheese. Today I went before work and ordered the same thing along with a peanut paradise which I love now by mistake, I normally get a fruit paradise point but one day I went Lex C gave me peanut paradise instead by mistake, good thing I didn’t have a peanut allergy I would have been in the hospital, but I have been getting that cause it has more protein. Well I order the same thing by Lex C decided again she want to give me what she wanted to which was a chicken pesto spinach egg wrap. I got to work and got busy so I was unable to enjoy the wrap until all my clients cleared out. Once they did to thought nothing of if and began to chow down I took a few bites and and was fine I went to dip my wrap in the tomato Sauce and there was chicken i immediately start to vomit. After a few minute of that I took of across the street back to the store. Eyes still watering still feeling like throwing up which I did a few times in there parking lot. They told my they can remake and it was an mistake. Then Lex C comes out with no empathy and tells me I’ll be fine, at this point I’m pissed off. I don’t want more food just give me a refund. Original the total was about $12-$13 for my wrap and my smoothy she said here a refund and gave me a receipt for $32 say it will go back on my card. Which was strange because I paid a portion in cash. I notice the receipt was for a totally different customer with totally different card number, meaning she refunded some other customer my money. Look at the images I shared. She said the manager would be in soon, but I had to get back to my jewelry store to meet clients, so I took the receipt and left still throwing up one I got back in my truck . This is the 2nd time Lex C has messed my order up this time it made me sick. That will be my last time going to this place. Lex C does not pay attention she just give the customers what she feels is suitable....
Read moreMy family made a simple online order. 3 smoothies, a wrap, and a Flatbread... when we got to the store at the time that we were told our order would be ready nothing had been started. The person behind the counter apologized and quickly made the smoothies, however the food was a different story. I waited for 20 minutes for my food and asked if anyone was working on it and I overheard the girl in the back food area say "I'm not making that $hit"
I get that you may not like your job but just quit and let people that pay for food and service have what they pay money for. I'm very disappointed that teenage drama and work ethic is very much the quality level of this store. I've been to other Tropical Smoothie places and I'd advise going to any other location. Honestly I could have driven 30mins to any other location and gotten home to my family with fresh food and cold smoothies in less time. Now we are eating soggy food and lukewarm melted smoothies as the drinks have now been sitting for an hour. I think I'll try the pita shop in the same parking lot. They looked like they were serving paying customers food.
Oh and when I arrived to pickup my order the staff was taking out the trash and there were no customers... I don't know what the drama was with the girl in the back but just like my business and money she can miss me with that...
