Los Politos Mexican Food — Restaurant in Phoenix

We came here twice this past week when we were visiting Phoenix - lunch on Christmas and on the 27th. We came back because the food was so good! Both times we had tacos (shrimp and chorizo especially recommended) and the birria "taco" (fried with cheese in a tortilla. HOWEVER, both times my credit card was OVERCHARGED after we ordered. The first day the food was $20 - my CC was later charged for $26. The second time was $27, and my CC was later charged for $34. This is fraud, and luckily my CC had the extra $6 and $7 pulled back. Cozy and laid back with quick service and a delicious menu. If you get a burrito, opt for enchilada style. If you can finish the whole thing, I applaud you. And don't forget to order an ice cold horchata!

I wanted to quickly share my recent dining experience at Los Politos with you. The food was truly excellent - not only was it delicious, but the portions were generous and all at a very reasonable price. Additionally, I was impressed by how the staff made me feel welcomed and taken care of throughout my meal.
