Plenty of people complain on the Web when their not happy but a fraction of that will post when they are happy. I was amazed at the turn around in sardellas quality, flavor, reachability and service. First of all I ordered online via paypal!! I love that I can do that with them. No cash on me no card fresh out of a pool on the way to the store... no problem log in to paypal click the dine icon BAM. I thought this was a quick easy fix for quick greasy food. Atleast thats how I remember it being years ago before my acid reflux made me stay away from all the pie joints. Greasy cheaply made pizza and wings. Nothing spectacular but worthy of a spot in the mall food court kinda high bar ya know. I was happily incorrect. From the ease of ordering to the moment I'm writing this I have been in pure enjoyment. They have made me smile and feel great by simply doing what they said they would do. The pizza was great, a 16" pepperoni with 12 boneless wings 19.99 add cheesy garlic bread 3.99 a good amount of food for four and all around 27.00 bucks after tax. We walked into a clean well light well decorated friendly pizza parlor. A friendly staff that didn't over do it with that hello welcome hellooooo welcome hello hello... some place go to far with it. They smiled looked you in the eyes and kept working like a smooth well oiled machine. The line moved quickly even when the guy in front of me didn't know what he want and waited on a two year old at the tabe to figure out why she can't order purple pizza. She helped him quick made suggestions and got to us. I was greeted told her I had a pick up online she handed me my stuff thanked us and we left.... now it's get good. We got home opened the boxes and WOW. A good looking pie great looking cheesy bread and average wings and size. We dug in quickly and I sat here thinking how I was wowed by them. So wowed I didn't want to let it go... so after I post this short story (which I feel they really do deserve) I will be calling the store to thank them and let them know everyone calls when their standards are not met by the companies standards, and wanted to say they now changed my standards in what I should be expecting. So long, long wait streets of new york, 50 minute delivery time dominoes and over priced pizza hut... we are now...
Read moreTerrible customer service today. I grew up in my current same neighborhood. My family and I have been coming to this location for over 20 years. The quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. But for nostalgia and closeness I still occasionally choose them. But today has effected that choice. This will now be my third issue in a row with my orders of values over $60. My 20 traditional sauced wings came to us bone dry. I called with in minutes of receiving my food and was offered for sauce to be brought back to my house. Okay perfect - I’m less than 3 minutes away no problem. Over 20 minutes later I call back to check on my sauce that has not arrived for my now cold wings. I am told that “I’m not in the car with the driver I don’t know how long it takes to get back from your house ma’am, there’s nothing I can do for you.” I ask for new wings and mention that the pizza was also not made well - crust was old tasting and also basically sauceless. Our order had the value of $75. I was berated for being unreasonable before being told new wings could be delivered only if I gave back the old wings. When I argued this unsanitary petty practice that feeds food waste, since they can not/should not be reusing this food, I was told more how there was no way I would be keeping this food if I wanted new food. New food that is being requested because my order was not done correctly and their estimated wait time was excessive for what could have been a simple solution. The last time this happened I was offered new wings immediately with no hassle and that customer service is what kept me coming back. But I have been talked down to, lied to by a second manager that I had an option of a refund instead - that was never given, received subpar food and service, and waited a total of 90+ minutes before giving up with only slightly more sauced wings than I had...
Read moreI am finally done with Sardellas. I have been a loyal customer for a long time. My boyfriend and I were eating there once or twice a week for years but now I feel totally taken advantage of, so no more. I normally order their chef salad for $5.00. A nice little salad. I ask for extra meat, another $1.00 (that's fair, but they are a little stingy with their meat) and an extra dressing for another $.50. So I call today to order a chef salad "to go", with extra meat and an extra dressing. I am told my total is $11.95. So I'm asking why is my $7.00 salad $11.95. I am told that the $5.00 salad is now $8.95. Not a small increase but almost double and extra meat is almost double too. I am tired of being a loyal customer and recommending Sardellas to my friend and family; only to have them almost double their cost. I cannot speak for my boyfriend but no more of my money will be spent their. Subway is next door and they have salads. Wildflower Bread Company has a wonderful salmon salad with capers and mushrooms for less than $8.95 and it comes with bread. So disappointed in your establishment. Now I am...
