Subway — Restaurant in Phoenix

The 2 extra stars are out of respect of the experiences I have had before the past 6 months. Not sure what happened here, but online ordering is a terrible experience here now. To compare, the first time I ordered here for my friends and I, it was shockingly good for a subway. I had friends who questioned if it was really subway (they hated subway). So of course I was delighted to find an enjoyable option besides pizza, that people liked that was nearby. Went inside early after one time and there was the nicest person working who did a great job. I really wish I would have let this subway chain know how valuable that employee was. Recently though. Maybe a little over 6 month ago. I started getting inconsistent service. First time it was a misplaced ingredient. Not to bad, I understand the drool day of making sandwiches can wear on someone. I also tend to order 3-5 sandwiches. So not a big deal. Second time, completely just made the wrong sandwich for one of them in the order. Again, benefit of the doubt here, I took the mistake in stride. Third time, I went in after placing the order 30 minutes before. 1 of 5 sandwiches started and it was busy. So I waited, I'm not gonna complain about rushes cause it happens. Sat off to the side and the staff attempted to be friendly while I waited (I have not seen the previous employee mentioned since this started). Having trusted that they could read the order and talk, I took the order without watching them. Well, they made 5/6 sandwiches the same. The order had 3 of the same sub and 3 different. Okay, sure. Luckily it was still acceptable by those who I got it for. This brings me to 02/28/2020. One my friends offered to get the sandwiches as they were going to be late. Which I figured was good, because it would give the staff time to make the order. Well, I was wrong. Placed the order at 5:40 pm. Got a text from my friend at 6:45 pm. The order was not even started. So it made them even more late. Well come to find out, the staff was rude to my friend. Apparently 3 people standing around doing nothing. What is the point of an online order if it is not ready or even started in an hour after the order was placed. Really not going to eat here anymore. The food was fine btw, so no complaints, no...

Worse Customer Service EVERRRRR ! Don’t come here sandwiches are not made right and Manager not willing to work out his Mistakes or his Employees Mistakes .

Online order supposed to be ready at 9 PM waited 15 mins for TWO sandwiches that were already opened and sitting on the counter . No other customers came in during the entire 15 mins . Got Sandwiches and cheese was not melted at all , we asked for toasted Sandwiches . Asked nicely for Two new sandwiches and she said yes but they would have to take the sandwiches back , I told her nicely she isn’t taking the sandwiches because she wasted my time and now another 15 mins is gonna be wasted for TWO more sandwiches which would then make it 30 mins after it was supposed to be done at 9 PM .

She said no and that I could speak to the manager , I did get a little loud because I was upset but then spoke to the manager after she told HER side of the story and he said that’s not how his business works and that they would just throw the sandwiches away and make new ones .

Makes perfect sense dude , Pretty sure this Place is Owner Operated you know how they can be No good Customer Service .

Left with a refund because employee no longer wanted to make the sandwiches because she got “ Yelled “ at . Still didn’t even want to give us the messed up sandwiches after all that mess .

Horrible management. Please save your money go somewhere else .

OMG! The dude that made our sandwiches was very clearly VERY STONED. His eyes were blood red cherries behind eye lids that were almost totally closed. Took 18 minutes to make two simple sandwiches... and I was the ONLY customer in there. The ham and cheese was so painful that I actually set a stop watch for the cold cut... 9 minutes 32 seconds to make a non-toasted cold cut. I had to repeat myself at least 3 times on EVERYTHING I said, not because he didn't hear me but because in the 3 seconds between me saying it and him doing it, he completely forgot what I said! He fumbled, bumbled, and slopped his way through everything. Watching him try to drop the cold cut meats was like watching a newborn try to rebuild an engine. I was stupid enough to ask for salt and pepper, the attached picture shows how that turned out... he PAINTED it with pepper. That by itself made them almost inedible, but whatever redemption they had left was ruined by the stale, nasty bread. There was another employee there, but she ducked into the back when I walked in and never came back out the whole 18+ minutes I was in there. Reefer king didn't have a name tag or I'd post it. We rarely eat Subway anymore because we get food poisoning about 40% of the times we do, but if this stoner garbage is what we have to look forward to now, we'll just...
