Website said closes at 10pm...got there around 9pm nobody in there but staff. There where 3 boys (meaning staff looked like teens) standing up by register area but when they seen us walking up to door....they all went to back areas & made themselves busy. We already knew what we wanted so just waited...even said excuse me, nothing. Told bf let's go, he said no let's see how long it'll be till someone actually comes over to say there closed. 1 kid walks up from back then turns around, another kid at prep table looking over his shoulder at us but never acknowledged us. The kid in the yellow walks from soda area turns back around. I should of done it but when I was gonna make a video a young lady comes from another area walks up to register & greets us.....a little close to 20 mins. Literally anything we tried to get the other 3s attention nothing 😒. But she takes our order very friendly excellent customer service, at the same time I notice the 3rd kid who had yellow shirt walking from soda area like seriously when the others notice she's taking our order then they go around the corner then all of them walking from back with another kids dressed in black...I'm assuming the supervisor or manager & he's calling her name asking "did you already ring up their order?" All the while the 3 who originally ignored us standing around him making faces looking at her stink eyes like "why you ring them up looks" she's like yea, he tells her no money in drawer, she says it's ok they are using card, he says that register is already closed, she says ok, I'll ring you guys up on the next register. Seriously I wish I did video it to us it was hilarious. The whole while they could of been making our order they standing there like why...but it was funny seeing all 4 of them walking over like which one went and cried to the boss because she took or order...go make her stop. To late. Usually we go to PPP on south side 602, this was just on the way home & wouldn't have made it before 10pm. I don't know how this place usually is with customer service but the 4 not great.....as for the young lady see did...
Read moreFirst off, my family and I have come to this location multiple times and never had any issues up until this time we went on 1/11/25. We came to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday not with an official party but just because she loves PPP. The first thing I'll mention is the food and it was just ok. Normally I actually like the pizza but this time it seemed a little off however, I do realize it could just be me or maybe it was an off day I'm not sure. I will say though that the cheesy garlic bread was delicious. Now before I move on to the service, I will say they were getting absolutely slammed it was insanely busy so of course I know it can be difficult to give excellent service in a busy environment. However, every employee we interacted with from the cashier to the manager and even to the prize area attendant had no interest in any concerns that were raised to them. In the game area kids that may have been teens or preteens were running around really fast and hitting each other without any regard for other children. Did any staff seem to care? Nope. I have three little ones and there were plenty of other small children in the area and I wouldn't have wanted for my kids or anyone else's to get hurt but I guess that wasn't important. Also, plenty of the games didn't work but had no signs indicating otherwise and again nobody seemed to care. Then after about an hour of us being there it was a strong smell of marijuana around this particular group of people. Mentioned it to the staff and literally all we got was a shoulder shrug. I guess I shouldn't care if that smell is around children or not. There was a woman there who was barely clothed and let's just say her whole backside was out at one point (this isn't on PPP I just thought it was inappropriate around children). This was truly the worst experience that we have had at this location. If we go to PPP again it will be a long time before we do whether it's this...

First Impressions We came to celebrate a birthday party, but ended up staying longer just to soak in the fun. Between the flashing lights of the games and the energy of happy, pizza-filled kids, it’s the kind of spot that nails classic family entertainment.
Atmosphere & Vibe Lively, bright, and full of families having a great time. The only downside? The AC wasn’t quite keeping up. It felt a little humid and stuffy inside, especially with so many people. Definitely something to note on a hot Phoenix day. That said, the layout and play areas made it easy to keep track of the kids while still relaxing.
What I Tried The pizza was exactly what you hope for; hot, cheesy, and satisfying in that nostalgic, “taste-of-childhood” way. Party fare was ordered for the group and everything came out on time and fresh. Huge props for bringing back their play parks which was a total hit with our younger crew.
Service & Experience Staff was friendly and on it, keeping the birthday event running smoothly. The games being only 1 point each is a game-changer (pun intended). It makes it way easier to have fun without constantly doing math or refilling cards. And the prize pod? Kid-approved. Big time.
Pro Tips or Heads-Up • Dress light. The AC can struggle on busy, hot days. • Bring socks for the play area. • Great spot for burning off kid energy without blowing your budget, especially if you stack weekday promos like their summer special.
Final Verdict Despite the stuffy air, this location still delivered a solid, fun-filled experience. Between the food, the game updates, and the kid-friendly vibe, Peter Piper Pizza remains a go-to for parties, summer afternoons, or whenever the crew needs to get out of the house and into some fun. We’ll definitely be back, maybe to a cooler location or once the temps drop!
