I was an employee. I'm a military vet with PTSD and a neurological issue. They allowed me to work in a hostile work environment. I went to HR about it and then they took retaliative measures against me all the way to harassing me at Fry's on the corner of 69th avenue and Bell. Lynn the employee at Thunderbird and 59th avenue. Who is unprofessional conduct of passive aggression towards me made me walk out one day and they said I forfeited my job. I experienced extreme nepotism. There's nothing but friends family and churchgoers that work for them junior is GM under m is Daniel who used to go to Sunday school with him under him is Angel his son under that may I go on. These kids are mean and very disrespectful. The customer service there is horrendous. Add breakfast if they don't have anything they will give you an incorrect order and not give you a receipt extremely bad company. Both places on 59th avenue Thunderbird and Bell. Let it be known they've got a new store that should never have been opened! I'd like to also add Lynn took retaliative measures against another employee at a different store when she tried to complain about Aubrey manager of the brand new store. So as you can see Lynn is known to do the path of aggressive retaliation fail Wendy's. I would like to add that I am a proud employee of Black Bear diner on 60th avenue and Bell road. I would like to invite everybody to Black Bear because they are a wonderful company and they didn't have to support me but they did I am a military vet with disabilities! Black Bear diner is amazing five 5++++++++++ STARS and I'd also like to thank everybody for supporting me and supporting them. Thank you black bear and everybody that works there you're all amazing! And I'm proud to say that I work with these amazing people and for this wonderful company. I will promote black bear to anybody and everybody you can see me walking down Bell road in that area wearing their shirts nothing but support nothing but love and respect blackbear. Please remember if you see me I am a disabled vet with a neurological issue and PTSD so could you please be...
Read moreAs far as Wendy's is concerned this is the coolest Wendy's I've ever been to as far as atmosphere and the look of it it looks brand new. When I rode up on my bicycle I noticed there was nowhere to lock my bike I went inside and asked them if I could just put my bike inside the front lobby area not in the lobby but in the area before the lobby area and they said no because it was a safety hazard. If they don't have anywhere for me to lock up my bike then they should have let me that's ridiculous. I ended up blocking my bike to a water pipe outside I hope my bike is still there when I get out we live in a pretty bad neighborhood. When I entered the Wendy's and came up to the counter they were like employees standing right there most of them two or three of them were attending to the drive-thru one girl was in the corner not doing anything and I said is someone going to help me and she Shrugged her shoulders then somebody said is somebody going to help her and the girl finally came to help me. The girl taking my order was very pleasant very nice it was a bigger Native American lady I don't know her name she was very friendly and I liked her I got the food it was okay I must say though it was really small for a burger that costs $7.50! While I was eating I figured I would get a drink because I was thirsty I went back up to the counter all the employees had disappeared into the back one was sitting in Plainview on her cell phone and the other girl was doing the drive-thru put up her finger as if to tell me to wait I said forget this and I went back to eating that was my experience at this Wendy's I really hope that they get a bike rack or somewhere to lock people's bikes up pretty soon that would be nice thank you the one thing I will say that I love more than anything was they had a plaque on the wall dedicated to we love adoption I was adopted at 6 years old it's really touched my heart thank...
Read moreThe employees there need to learn a bit about customer service. The first time we went after the re-opening, we told the man in the drive-thru we needed a minute. Not even 10 seconds later, a different woman very loudly said "what can I get you?" We told her we needed a minute also. Again, literally less than 10 seconds later, "ok what do guys you want?" Feeling rushed, we just ordered a couple meals. Her nametag said Ale by the way. At the window, every employee was yelling, fooling around, one guy threw a ketchup packet at another girl... Needless to say, the place looked like it was ran by 10 year olds. Once again, Ale was rude and it almost felt like she was impatient with us. The food itself was ok but the employees are just aweful and immature.
This second time we visited will be the last, once again due to the employees. We ate inside instead of the drive-thru. As we were placing our order, in the middle of a sentence, the manager grabbed the guy who was taking our order's shirt, pulled him aside, and started talking to him. I couldn't hear what they were saying but they both laughed really loud before he finally returned to finish taking our order. So to recap from there: she pulled him aside while i was ordering, neither of them saying a word to us, just to tell him a joke? What the Hell? Once again, the food was alright but the employees, including the manager were very loud, swearing, and goofing off inside the kitchen for everyone to see and hear. It was ridiculous.
We have always loved wendys but I'll drive the extra mile and go to Jack in the Box right down the street from now on. I worked at Sonic as an manager/operator for many years before I got my current job. I know what good customer service is and I know the effects lacking it can cause. I recommend retraining or replacing all of...
