I have been coming here ever since it opened. My husband and I have a few dishes we really like. Over the past few years the prices have continued to rise but the quality of the food remains the same. This past weekend we had a craving and went out. The waitress took our order and brought our drinks. She never brought us the chips and salsa (which is one reason I like going...the chips are great). When I asked, she said she ran out and couldn't give them to us. I was disappointed. We then noticed a women come in by herself and sit at the table directly across from us and the first thing they brought her were the chips!!!! We continued our dinner. My husband ordered extra tortillas to finish off his meal. When we received the check....$50.00! Including an added charge for the tortillas. The chips they make are just fried tortillas, couldnt they atleast comp us the extra tortillas charge for not bringing us the chips? I dont like to cause a riot so we just paid and left. That same night I woke up vomitting non stop. I knew it was the food from the restaurant, it was the only thing different I had eaten. I am 5 months pregnant and getting dehydrated is a real concern for me. I was held up for two days because of food poisoning. After coming to this restaurant for years, we will never be back. You can find better quality authentic Mexican food at a way smaller...

From the moment I stepped into El Burrito, I was struck by how clean and cozy the place felt. Nestled in the heart of downtown Phoenixville, the location couldn’t be better.

We ordered a steak burrito, chicken burrito, pork burrito, and tortilla soup. The burritos were fantastic - juicy, packed with meat, rice, veggies, and beans - all wrapped up perfectly. And the best part? They came with crispy, golden French fries on the side. You can’t ask for a better combo! The tortilla soup was just as delicious, rich with tender chicken and flavorful spices. I asked for mine without sour cream, and Dylan made sure it was just right.

To top it all off, we indulged in the homemade deep-fried ice cream - WOW! The crispy shell, the creamy ice cream inside, and the generous scoop size made it an absolute treat. We also tried the Nutella ice cream, and let’s just say, it was next-level delicious!

A huge shoutout to Dylan, who was incredibly welcoming and made our experience even better. And of course, a big thank you to Maria, who was also wonderful, and to the talented cooks working behind the scenes - they don’t always get the recognition they deserve, but they’re the heart of this amazing food.

We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of this authentic and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine....

I’ve been a customer of El Burrito for about a year and I’ve been trying to write a review but I always forget but here I am (finally!). So I lived in Mexico for over 20 years and I got here 2-3 years ago, I’m always looking for authentic Mexican restaurants to make me feel home. I’m from a state called Oaxaca and trust me, we are WORLDWIDE known because of our gastronomy, so I know what authentic and great Mexican food tastes like. When I tried El Burrito, I said “wow, this is the place!”, the place that truly reminds me of home, like almost everything on the menu is just like my town in Oaxaca. Fun fact: Corn ice cream is great here! The Cuban torta is the biggest sandwich I’ve ever seen in my entire life! In Mexico, they’re big but not this big. It’s so delicious!! The fish tacos are my husband’s favorite meal, I do like them too, highly recommended. I love the Cheese Gorditas 🤤. The Chorizo or Al Pastor quesadilla are another fav. There are so many great things. And for the big final, they just added Chilaquiles on their menu 😍, I had them for lunch yesterday and I came back today to get them for lunch again. I am so much in...

If you're in Phoenixville looking for a fast, cheap, hole in the wall Mexican place, this your spot. They were very helpful and friendly. The service was very fast. You get complementary chips and salsa. My husband and I split a chorizo burrito and a steak torta. The torta was huge! I liked the burrito more, but they were both good. I tried a bite of the steak burrito and thought the chorizo was much better. It's cash only. The check was also hard to read and figure out the way it was written out. We were trying to split between multiple people and it was hard to tell how much each item cost. I'd come back again when in the area.
