Party of 5

Order: Hummus platter (3) Seafood Lo Mein (2) Crab Tacos Tres Leches

Food: The hummus platter had great hummus and superb feta cheese but unfortunately the platter had tons of feta, pita, and vegetables and very little hummus.

The main dishes was inconsistent in terms of portion size. One lo mein order was almost twice the size of the other two. With regards to taste, the scallops were well cooked and tasted fresh but the shrimp had a chemical taste to them.

The crab tacos were pretty bland and disappointing although the chips and salsa was fresh.

The Tres Leches was dry due to it not being soaked in any type of condensed milk. Good flavor otherwise.

I’m always hesitant with restaurants that have random menus (lo mein, tacos, burgers, pasta) that aren’t from one particular type of cuisine (American, Chinese, Italians, Latin) and this reaffirmed my feelings that it’s hard to successfully execute multiple unrelated cuisines in a single kitchen.

Service: Great service, one of the lo meins was asked to be removed from the bill due to chemical taste and that was granted. The server was very attentive as was management.

Overall: Did not like the food but the atmosphere, beer selection, and service was the saving grace here. Wouldn’t go out of my way to return but I wouldn’t avoid it all...

Sunny Monday evening so I sat outside. Very interesting menu. Waitress started out good. Answered questions, recommended a drink. Ordered a drink then the meal. Ordered the beer fried cheese curds. They came out but then withing two mins came the tacos. Timing is everything. One Fiesta Taco which is just veggies and one Brisket taco. Fiesta taco was good, especially for not having a protein. The Brisket taco dry. Said it was to come with a sauce well not sure that made the plate. Back to the timing is everything, well when food arrived, asked for a water, it never came but neither did the waitress again. Could have sold at least another $10 drink but if you never come out to the table I can't order one. The longer I sit without one the less I want one. Worst part, a table that was just drinking with now server got more server attention than I did. Cant blame it on getting busy either, only one or two tables came in while I was there. In reading all the other reviews this is an...

The restaurant/bar is very nice, but the food needs a lot of work. The restaurant has a very nice layout; long bar area, plenty of room, large bathrooms, and table games in the back. The beer speaks for itself. LOVE THE BEER.

On to the food. We ordered wings, the Phoenixville burger and one of the salads. The wings were under cooked and the sauce seemed liked it was brushed on and did not stick to the wings. The concept of the PB appears in the right direction with its toppings, jalapeno peppers, jack cheese, avocado, etc, but the burger was luke warm, along with the sea salt fries. The fries were bland. Take a lesson from Village Whiskey for fries. Food needs to be served HOT!!! My wife's salad was okay but nothing to talk about.

I know the restaurant just opened, but Phoenixville has a lot of options for food. I will return for the beer, but probably eat somewhere else unless the...

I had my bridal shower at the Conshohocken Rec Room this past weekend, and it was truly the bridal shower of my dreams! The upstairs room was the perfect space to host 45 ladies to celebrate my upcoming wedding and we even got to invite the fellas, who had a great time hanging out downstairs during the event! John and Alexa were incredible during the planning process, making everything seamless. Getting in for setup was a breeze with the convenient backdoor access and parking lot right there. The bartenders were fantastic, friendly, efficient, and serving up delicious beer and cocktails. The food was excellent, and the included music setup and speakers really helped set the vibe and made it easy to play games throughout the event. If you’re looking for a beautiful, fun, and stress-free venue for your next event, look no further than the Conshohocken Rec Room!
