I love boba so I was excited to get some and ordered the creme brulee brown sugar boba. I don’t know if it was a fluke or what, but the drink tasted spoiled and expired, it was straight up disgusting and I spit it back up into the straw because of how awful it tasted!!! I’ve ordered creme brûlée boba at other shops before, so I didn’t know if this shop just had some kind of weird brulee or what but it did not taste good at all! I wanted to throw up! The consistency was pudding like and congealed at the bottom of the cup, and again, tasted spoiled. I told the employees and they didn’t really explain if they had a spoiled ingredient or not, they just offered to remake it, but I didn’t trust that it would taste better so I instead decided to get the brown sugar boba instead (I did not have to pay again, which I was surprised about since the sign says no refunds or exchanges.) It wasn’t bad, but I’m still shocked at how awful the creme brulee drink was. Absolutely the worst boba I’ve ever had, I don’t think I would ever go again or recommend it to anyone else, or at least I don’t recommend the creme brulee drink. I hope it was a fluke and not that the drink is just...
Read moreOrlando, FL. In Florida Mall’s food court; too sweet for Asian tastes; good range of flavor options; not a lot of popping boba put in our drink.
Steve was craving boba. We were pleased they had lychee green tea with lychee popping boba.
With 18% tip it was around $11.85.
Customer service was unsmiling and almost nonverbal. The person motioned to the card reader, and only spoke once about the milk option. No eye contact was made.
Before we went in Steve said, “They always ask if I want milk tea. What is that?” “Milk tea started off as a huge amount of powdered nondairy creamer added to black tea in Taiwan, I think. In 2001, Viv brought me a boba kit from Hawaii and it was full of powdered nondairy creamer.” I don’t want that,” Steve responded.
Sure enough, when Steve ordered the lychee tea with lychee popping boba, the person at the register asked, “Do you want milk tea?” I said, “No,” and the person said, “It will be made with green tea. Is that okay?” We agreed.
The amount of boba put in was less than usual, maybe 1/5 of the cup’s contents (Steve usually gets boba tea at Bento and they give...
Read moreI have the worst experience at this place during my trip to Florida! I ordered passionfruit green tea with grass jelly. The girl at the cashier punched in as dragon fruit green tea with grass jelly. When the drink came out, I realized that she gave me the dragon fruit. I later asked for an exchange. The manager came out from the kitchen and said it’s their policy that they do not do a! WHAT??? Their staff made an error and they do not fix it, and in rerun explained to me on their no exchange policy!!!! The manager said we always ask the customers to check the receipts to make sure the order is correct. I am sorry but the cashier did not ask me to check the receipt but she charged my card …immediately ($$$ hungry). Turns out my kids also said their drinks tasted mediocre compared to other bubble drink places. Anyhow, if only this google review has a half star, which I would love to give. I’ll give this a one-star. Magic Pearls are not magical after all! WORST BUBBLE TEA SERVICE EVER...
