Shake Shack Florida Mall — Restaurant in Pine Castle

Went to have a quick lunch with my family on Saturday 4/20 and let me tell you it was a disappointment!!

This location is an open one where you could see all the staff members serving your food. I notice that they had a can of cheese sauce that was having difficulty to function. One of the staff members was trying to to serve a gloop of cheese sauce to one of the previous customers order. IT WAS JUST DISGUSTING!

My order was NEXT since I order 2 burger and bacon cheese fries she proceeded to get a plastic ramekin and just add that gloop of cheese to my fries. NO!, NO!, NO! WHEN she came with my order I asked her if that was old cheese sauce? With an attitude & rude manner she replied: "Yes" and rolled her eyes.

UNFORTUNATELY MY TODDLER WAS GOING TO HAVE A BITE OF MY ORDER THEREFORE I REFUSE TO GIVE THAT OLD ORDER OF GLOOP OF CHESSE TO MY SON! CAN I GET A NEW ORDER MADE WITH FRESH CHEESE SAUCE!

SHE THREW THE OLD ORDER TO THE TRASH CAN WITH AGAIN THE RUDEST ATTITUDE! FRIES ARE NOT A GREAT DEAL! PREFER THE ONES FROM BURGER FI!

I WAS JUST SO SHORT OF PATIENCE ON HOW THERE'S NO STANDARD OR COMMON SENSE IF THE CHEESE IS OLD WHY SERVE IT? IT'S SIMPLE COMMON SENSE!! AND I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER!!

FINALLY THERE'S NO CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE BACK OF THE HOUSE OR STANDARD!! IF YOU KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS CAN SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING WHY DO IT? I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE WHAT THEY DO WHEN PEOPLE ARE NOT EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR ORDERS.

The cashiers and the burgers where the only take away from my experience and that's the reason I give it 2 stars. I guess I'm going to have to go to the Winter Park location to hopefully get good...

Additionally, the close proximity of the kiosks can be inconvenient, especially for larger groups. We also noticed that the floor could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness.

I visited this place in September 2025, and honestly, they have no idea what customer service means. When I arrived, every table I considered sitting at was dirty. It seems like once customers leave, nobody bothers to clean up, so the entire dining area looks extremely messy.

But that’s not even the biggest issue. The real problem here is the staff. They are incredibly rude. I was calling out to the person who brought my food to let them know where I was sitting, but they completely ignored me. When they finally brought my order, they practically threw the plate onto the table. Later, I asked one of the staff members where I could find a straw, and instead of answering, he just pointed without saying a word. It felt like no one there knows how to speak or interact with customers.

To make matters worse, the food is nothing special. The burger I ordered was just average and definitely not worth the poor experience. Overall, this place is a disaster—dirty, rude staff, and mediocre food. I would not recommend...
