I'm posting to recognize a employee/manager by the name of Jamie! My family and myself have been loyal customers for many years now and daily are greeted by Jamie with huge smiles the biggest smile ever always, he's always in a happy positive mood and even my when parents or any family go thru even the drive thru for 6 am coffee he's smiling and he always ask about me and my family "EVERYTIME"! No mater the time of day 99% of the time he is working hard and with big happy smiles! No matter our day he can cheer us up instantly by these small things like a simple smile and how's everyone and so worried about me as the past few years been fighting cancer. It's like we know we can count on him to lift our spirits and my children to he always has a crown ready for my 8 year old daughter who adores him and he always takes the time to talk to her. He means alot to our family more than he knows, to him we're probably just nice loyal customers but to us he's our friend we always think about and appreciate and respect. He's always working hard and always working day or night it seems and the time he us not there it seems the store is running smoothly but missing something like if confused without him as he's the heart and backbone of BK on Park Blvd and 66 Street. I know he's a family man and also when I don't see at BK I see at his 2nd job and he needs to be home with his family not overworked he definitely needs a raise as he holds that store together and without him it can be a mess at times all though all employees work hard and are great he's just the glue it seems and how we can always know in our hearts "a stranger", at our local BK can brighten our day ALWAYS!! our eyes he's a amazing man and friend we can count on who I'm sure has no idea our thoughts of him , he's been our glue also in so many ways since I've been sick and he doesn't even know! So I'm posting this to say thanks Jamie your amazing! Soo everyone take a second and think, a simple smile, hello, how's your day can seriously make a huge difference to a person and Jamie is proof of that. I used to be one to walk in a store and ignore or avoid conversation even eye contact but because of Jamie I no longer do I say hi to someone if eye contact is made cus I now know how much it can make a difference to someone you don't even know as we never know how thier life is and they mite need that simple hello or smile so Burgerkl King corporate or store owner take care and recognize this man as you need him at your store so do whatever a raise even or simple certificate on the wall acknowledging his hard work and caring about customers my opinion he works so hard and happy and so much but mostly your store is a mess at times without him so he deserves it and idk when there's time for 2nd job but he does it after he created a amazing astmophere at BK I think he needs a break and see his family like a raise so can not have 2nd job as BK is his life and NOT ONE TIME I've seen or heard him complain or other employees not even frustration at them or anything just ALWAYS SMILES!!! He definitely is the best thing for that BK as I've been in neighborhood my entire life and used to avoid BK due to always rude and mistakes, lots of the community did and talked about in a negitave way untill Jamie came along. JAMIE THANKS SO MUCH FROM ALL OF US YOUR AMAZING AND WE LOVE YOU. YOUR ALWAYS IN OUR OR PRAYERS! I will be in soon with a certificate for you and would love a family picture with you! I hope you see this or hear about my post from management and get at least a simple thank you from them also because you deserve it Jamie! 💞The icee...
Read moreIt's 830 at night and I pulled up to the Burger King to get some food . I knocked on the door, it was locked. The sign on the door said that dining room was open till 10 PM. I'm looking around and there's nobody inside but the Lights are on so I'm confused because doors are locked. So I go back to my car, as I get in my car and look over and I see 4 or 5 employees scurrying as if they were playing hiding seek and laughing. I get out of my car and go knock on the door. I start taking a video. This time they know I see them so I said how late is the dining room open? Witj her back still to m, aging kn her phone, she begrudgingly points over to the drive thru. Then she goes back to Her cell phone. The young man behind the counter was on the cellphone too... they were all too busy on their cellphones to help customers I guess! So I drive away and called the store to see what their hours actually are. A female answered and when I asked her how late the dining room is open she hung up on me! I called back and they never answered. I guess this is the values employees have these days. If I was the owner I would be disappointed ablut missing out on sales because the people working there had the doors locked to avoid customers coming in so they can play kn their cell phones and play hide from customers, unless the sign on the door needs to be updated because it clearly says the dining room is open until 10. I would like the owner to contact me. I have video proof of this I took a video of them, and of the hours posted on the door. Bad way to...
Read moreI first went through the drive through but decided to go inside so I wouldn't hold up the drive through line. I had my service dog with me. She is trained for Phychiatric and physical stability as I go into anxiety attacks. She is trained to perform tasks to help me throughout the day, but also during those attacks. I walked into BK from the far side of the restaurant and was immediately stopped by the gentleman at the counter saying I could not have a dog in the establishment. I informed him that she was in fact a service animal (she also had a vest on indicating so) He said it didn't matter and that I had to leave. I tried to explain that she is medical equipment and per ADA LAW he could not deny me service due to me having a service animal. He continued to argue with me so I just asked for the manager. He said he was the DM of the store. I then asked for the General manager, owner or corporate and he refused to give me any information. Finally I just asked for the store number. He gave me a number in which I text it to my partner immediately so I wouldn't forget, said thank you and left. I then ended up going into an attack in my car, in the parking lot and had to call my trainer to walk me through this issue of how to deal with this dilemma. It was very unsettling and off-putting for the whole...
